PROLOGUE

Madalas na-aamaze tayo sa mga sci-fi, heroic, and fantasy movies na napapanuod natin. We sometimes wished that we had those kind of abilities, those kind of powers. But if we take a look at our own reality, we know that it is impossible for us to be that extraordinary.

Siguro minsan sa kusina, nagpapanggap kang meron kang superpowers, like tatry mong i-snap fingers mo and then wait for a miracle to happen, we tried it a couple of times for sure, pero kahit na alam nating imposible, we're still hoping for it to happen. What a strong faith isn't it?

Or maybe you just wished you have some powers to make your crush feels the same way towards you, but we know that we can't, and we will never have those kind of power, ever.

But some people do have abilities that the doctors can't even explain. Are you familiar with The Ice Man? How about The Ultrarunner? Or maybe 'The Mountain' from the series, Game of Thrones?

If you're not, you better search for it and read the articles about them.

They all have one thing in common, and it is all about the ability they possessed that an ordinary human can't have. But if you're going to read all of their articles, hindi naman sila pinanganak na ganun talaga. It takes a lot of practice. And you should be willing to train the ability that you have, in order for it to improve and grow. Sa madaling salita, hindi lahat ng bagay nakukuha natin sa madadaling paraan, we need to put a lot of effort and hard work on it.

Kahit na sabihin nating ibang-iba ang mga taong 'yan sa mga napapanuod natin sa fantasy movies o nababasa sa fantasy novels, lahat sila pare-parehas lang ng pinagdadaanan. They have to mold the ability that is given to them in order for them to use it correctly, and to use it for the sake of the other human beings. It can be helpful sometimes, but it can also cause harm and violence to people. As for the magic users and heroes, they have to train themselves on how to use their own powers properly for them to save their kingdom or the mortal world.
