Unexpected Us

PROLOGUE

"Kita nyu yon, gurls? Sweet nga sila ngayon pro tingan natin sa huli, magiging BITTER din si girl. "

"Pakibigyan nga ng asukal etong si Railey."

Bago ang lahat, my name's Railey Elizze Cortoza, a Grade 12 student in West High University. All my life, I only lived with my mom. Hindi ko kasi nakilala yung papa ko and wala akong kaalam-alam sa kaniya. I always bother my mom about that but what she also always replies is that I shouldn't rush love because it will come not now but in the right time'. So why not choose to be bitter? Baka sa maling tao pa ako mahulog, ano.

"Driv! Kailan ka ba huling nakinig sa akin?" eto na naman tayo.

"I always do. Ikaw yung hindi nakikinig sa akin. How about I ask you this question. Kailan mo ba ako huling inintindi?"napailing na lang ako at lumabas na ng office niya.

I'm Dylhan Triv Andrada. Driv yung tawag sa akin ni Mommy noong nabubuhay pa siya. Short for Dylhan Triv daw. I'm a Grade 12 student, nephew of the owner of West High University. I am also the son of the owner of Eda Co. at nang isang mall. "A happy, contented and abundant life." Yun ang akala ng lahat. But actually the total opposite. Galit ako sa Daddy ko dahil nung namatay si Mommy, he chose to marry another woman which he promised not to. I don't know what changed his mind. Not just that, andami pang reasons. He will always be the worst father for me. That's why if I'd meet the one for me, I'll never replace her no matter what.

"Alam mo tol, pasalamat ka may daddy ka eh. Eh ako? Maliit pa lang ako ng mamatay yung parents ko. Sa'yo may natitira pang isa. Naku! Kapag pati yung Papa mo mawala, diyan ka magsisisi. Oh, I'll go ahead." tinapik ko siya sa balikat at umalis na ako.

Valiz Lerry Valdoza. Driv's best friend. Aaminin ko, loko loko rin kasi 'yang best friend ko. He should treasure his dad kasi yan na lang yung natitira sa kaniya. Ako na lang gayahin niyo. All I have is my grand mother and  tito but I'm happy. Just chillin', bros. Be like me, so handsome. Napailing na lang ako. Magtatago na nga lang ako, baka mamaya habulin pa ako ng mga chicks.

"Kuya, look. Those girls are looking at you. I think they like you Kuya." napatingin naman ako sa mga babae. Ano pa bang aasahan ko, football player kasi ako, kaya medyo sikat. Ginulo ko na lang ang buhok ni Jelly.

Ako si Jandy Keil Vencer, a Grade 12 in Eastern Excellence University. I have my supportive mom and sister, who are beside me ever since. In terms of love, hindi naman ako nagmamadali. I'm just going with the flow but I'm sure merong para sa akin.

"Shot." sabay naman naming nilagok yung alak.

Zynon Diego. Grade 12 sa WHU. Same situation every weekend. Chilling with my friends dito sa bar namin. Every weekend, new chicks. Spoiled din eh. I don't wanna be serious in love. Not now. It's not the time yet.

"Kailan ka ba kasi magkakagusto sa lalaki?" Yan yung palaging tanong namin nina Rianne at Louisse kay Railey.

"Hindi naman yun malalaman kung kailan at hindi naman pinipilit diba? Kaya sana sa right time na lang."

"Wow!" Sabay naming sabi nina Louisse at Rianne.

Ako, si Rianne at si Louisse ang mga bestfriends ni Railey. Kaso nga lang this school year, kaming apat ay hindi nasa isang section. Kami ni Railey ang magclassmates, Section A, pero sa ibang subjects nagiging Sec B ako. Sina Rianne at Louisse naman constant sec B.
