You May Know Me As...
A novel by gymnast17
--Prologue--
"Karter! Hey, get back here!" hollered Mitch. He was chasing me at a rapid pace... Well, at least he was trying to, considering he hadn't managed to fully get his pants back on. I didn't want to get back to him, though. He was sel-absorbed and kept trying to take his clothes off.
I was already long-gone by the time he'd finally got his zipper up. I hopped the broken, wooden fence and escaped his sight.
---
"Aw yeah! The test scores are in!" I exclaimed with eager happiness. I typed in my username- michelle.flanders and then my school ID, followed by a password.
I scrolled down and clicked on the tab for test scores on my online college website. Online college is such an amazing concept. With it, I can get the rest of my life going without going to an actual college.

"Whoop!" I accidentally let out a cheer upon seeing that I'd achieved a perfect score.
---
"But Tyler, I really do love you," I pleaded with my boyfriend.
"You're never around, though, Scarlet! We go to different schools and I only see you on our dates... which aren't that often. You always look tired and worn-out. Can't you possibly try to present yourself a little better around me? And how am I supposed to know if you're cheating on me? It's not like I ever see you, so I wouldn't know!" he whined.
"Oh Tyler, you're just a big, whiney baby! I want you out of my life. You always complain about me and my looks and my time-managemeant. That's just not cool. I'm breaking up with you! I heard Josh Maureen is single now!" I snatched my bag and stormed out of Tyler's house.
He was ugly anyway.
---
"Beautiful, Rebecca! Just play a little louder," commanded old Mr. Conrad, the concert band instructor.
"Sure, sir, but it's kind of hard to play louder when you're playing a clarinet..." I said, trailing off.
"Try!" he exclaimed, his bushy, white mustache jittering as he spoke.
"Okay." I shrugged and began playing the piece.
---
"Jessica! Toes up!" yelled Coach Hendley.
"Yep," I huffed. Today, we were working endurance-running in track. I was almost at the end of a six minute mile and she was telling me to pick up my toes? Ridiculous!
I sprinted the last few yards and ended up finishing before the rest of my teammates. They gave me sour looks. Why would they do that?
---
"Emma!" called Miranda from across the hallway.
"Miranda!" I squealed. She rushed over like a stampeding bull- with high heels- and gave me a huge hug.
"I missed you so much!" she exclaimed.
"How was visiting your cousins in Cali?" I asked excitedly.
"Terrible!" she said. "But, there were lots of cute beach guys," she gushed.
"Awesome!"

Author's Note: Hey! New story! I'm the author of Death Doesn't Due Us Part, Midnight: When The Wolves Come Out, A Kidnapping, Hiding In The Moonlight, and The Students Of Palm Tree High School. Thanks so much for reading and giving this a chance. It may seem a little confusing at first, try reading the description, it'll help :) Still confused? I'm just going to let you know that when the chapters start (this is a prologue) each chapter will only have one identity in it. There won't be multiple identities per chapter.
AS I SAID BEFORE: Prologues are supposed to be short and vague! You're not supposed to get the whole picture from them! NOT EVERY CHAPTER IS LIKE THIS! Only the prologue has short little bits of each, the point is so you get a little bite of each identity before the story starts. NO, this is not the same girl in different situations, it's the same character portraying her different identities. Read on, explanation is in chapter 1!
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY NEW AND UPDATED WORK - THE BOY WHO FELL OFF A LAWN MOWER!! Of course, you are welcome to read this story, but I wrote this many years ago so the grammar and style is nowhere near where I am at now. I have entered my new story in the 2018 Watty Awards so please check it out!!!

Anywho, your VOTES/facebook likes/tweets/VOTES/add to libraries/fans/VOTES/shout-outs/comments/google plus-ones oh yeah and votes are all VERY appreciated because I'm ENTERED IN THE WATTY AWARDS 2012!!!
