"Sabo..." you murmured.

You recalled his name being mentioned in conversations with Nami and Robin. Though they had told of his second in command position in a Revolutionary Army, and how he traveled so frequently. To you, he was like a celebrity.

"Mind if I sit with you?" He asked, his calm nature soothing your nerves as he didn't point out your obvious state of awe.

"Y-yes, of course!"

You watched as he slid into the booth across from you and ran a hand through his blonde locks.

Does Luffy know he's around?

You assumed he was surely on his way to go see his brother, or perhaps had just returned from doing so.

"Ah, I never got your name," he said with a kind smile. Something about this stranger made you feel at ease.

"(y/n)," you answered shyly and fidgeted with the mug, staring at it.

"(y/n)..." he said your name so smoothly it was as if you'd known each other for years. He then perked up and he seemed to be just as in awe about you as you were about him. "So you're the one Luffy talked about!"

You lifted your gaze to meet his and blinked. Your second assumption was correct. He had just finished visiting the straw hats, and had stopped by for a bite to eat before leaving once again. His visits were unscheduled, so you weren't sure how much time would pass before you saw Sabo again.

"How coincidental I'd find you," he continued, going on to talk about how he loved traveling, but hated it at the same time because of his inability to stay very long.

You thought of Law and how fortunate it was to have his pack, and Luffy's, so close. He would always come back. He said so himself.

"What's on your mind, (y/n)?" His voice hushed as he calmed down, growing concerned, "Luffy mentioned you giggled a lot, but I haven't heard one yet."

Before you could even think twice about releasing your stress on a stranger, you gushed.

"My best friend is dating this guy who gets under my skin and I agreed to go to a party with her before I knew she was seeing him and now he's probably going to be at that party, I repeat probably, and I'll be vulnerable to his despicableness and I'm going to suffer and die alone with a fork because my wolf is not here and I want her to be happy but I hate that guy." You groaned and planted your chin on the table beside the mug.

Sabo stared for a few minutes and you were worried that you had just scared him and he was going to leave. Then you really would be alone.

However, just like Ace (and probably Luffy), he started laughing despite the situation. This made the start of a smile twitch on your lips, but you didn't see what was so funny.

When he settled, he asked, "who's happiness do you care about the most?"

"Hers."

"Let me ask you this," he began and leaned over the table and his hands formed a sort of casual triangle as he spoke, which prompted you to pick your head up, "Who's happiness do you think your friend cares about the most?"

You paused. Normally, you would have pushed away any psychological questions and lectures. But Sabo gave off more of a brother vibe than a doctor or counselor.
