about two weeks passed before yugyeom returned to school.

and in those two weeks, kunpimook and his friends dropped jimin, and we buried the hatchet.

and even though i hadn't actually talked to yugyeom, my baby feelings for him grew into toddler feelings.

so when i saw him walk into the room right before the third period bell rang, my heart began to race and butterflies were flying all over my stomach.

he took his seat next to me and we both offered each other a small smile.

"hey, yugy." i whispered as the teacher started talking.

"hi. did you miss me?" he asked with a slight smirk.

i nodded while rolling my eyes. "somehow, i did. but where were you?"

his face then went blank. completely cold and emotionless. "uh i was sick. but i'm fine now."

neither of us said a word to each other for the rest of that class.

for the rest of that day.

something was off, and i wanted to know what.
