This O/S contains a lot of Spanish, and my totally awesome roommate Judith helped me translate them all. English translations will be in brackets, enjoy!

"So what do you know?" Specs asked, sitting in Up's study.

Up said thoughtfully, "I know some. Like idiota (idiot), hijo de puta (son of a bitch), oh! And mier- (fu-)"

Specs stopped him, "Okay! Okay. Obviously, Lieutenant Taz rarely says anything inoffensive in Spanish..."

"That's Taz for you."

Specs exhaled and decided, "Well we need to start from the basics. So how you introduce yourself is: Hola, me llama Comandante Up. (Hello, my name is Commander Up.)"

Up took a deep breath and tried to repeat what Specs said, "Hola, me... (Hello, my...) What was it again?"

After two hours of going through Specs's old Spanish textbooks, Up managed to learn how to introduce himself, count and pick up a simple conversation. So he took the textbooks back to his room to study.

Yes, he had known Taz for so many years that he couldn't remember exactly how long, but he never liked it when she spoke in Spanish and he couldn't understand a thing she was saying. Taz smiling to another Lieutenant after a huge conversation in Spanish was the last straw, Up was a guy who got jealous easily and he didn't appreciate other people flirting with his Lieutenant, who was also his girlfriend, so he had to learn Spanish.

The door of Up's room whirred as the engines allowed access to whoever was outside, Taz walked in, shutting the door behind her and Up hid the Spanish notes under a pile of paperwork.

"Hola (Hello) Up," she greeted, less like her violent self, "Como estás? (How are you?)"

"Bien, gracias (Good, thank you)," Up said in very broken Spanish.

Taz smiled, impressed, "Not bad Up, not bad. So, what are jou doing?"

"Um... paperwork," he lied unconvincingly.

"Up, are jou hiding from me?"

He shook his head, "Nothing."

"Enserio? (Really?)" Taz raised an eyebrow and Up swallowed nervously, but answered, "No. So what brings you here, Taz?"

She sat on his bed, which was not far from the desk Up was working on, "Krayonder is a grande hijo de puta (big son of a bitch), can jou help me torture him?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm on shift for training tomorrow," Up smirked, "So no problem. But why is he being a bigass son of a bitch?"

Taz let out a huff of anger and started ranting, "Since he found out about jou and me, he wouldn't callaté (shut up)! It's me molesta and moral de la historia is he is a grande hijo de puta (It's annoying me and the moral of the story is he is a big son of a bitch)! He's suerte (lucky) that he doesn't already have a cuchillo (knife) in his mano (hand)!"

Up tried to translate what she was saying, but no such luck, so he could only reply, "Okay..."

"Cincuenta (Fifty) extra laps should do," Taz decided, "And cien (a hundred) more pushups."

"But Taz... he's gonna die!" he informed her.

"No me importa (I don't care)!" she almost screamed, "Se lo merece (He deserves it)!"

And with that, Taz stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Per Taz's requests, Krayonder was 'rewarded' with fifty extra laps and a hundred more pushups the next day due to his non stop gossiping about Taz and Up's relationship.

"Why, Commander Up, why?!" Krayonder cried like a big baby as he started his thirtieth lap, out of breath, sweating buckets and almost collapsing while everyone else sat by and watched.

"You don't get away with messing with Lieutenant Taz," Up replied coolly as he sat with the others while some of the others yelled, "BURRRRNNNN."

Just then, a tough, dangerous, female voice sounded through the gym, "Que crema (What burns)?"

Everyone stood up fearfully and straightened up into a neat line, saluting, while Up had a tough time wiping that smirk off his face.

"At ease," Taz barked and the Rangers relaxed, but she was also having a hard time wiping the smirk off of her face as she saw Krayonder's sorry state.

"WHY LIEUTENANT?" Krayonder actually started crying when he passed Taz.

"Porque lo digo yo (Because I said so)!"

After Krayonder finished his extra laps, he collapsed on the floor next to his fellow Rangers, everyone stifled a chuckle while Taz smirked. That would teach Krayonder a lesson about messing with her.

After training, Taz went to the gym to punch some more dummies while Up went back to his study to have his Spanish lesson with Specs. In that two hours, he learnt more vocabulary and how to introduce his family. Everything went smoothly over the next two months, Up's Spanish vocabulary was definitely expanding and he gradually started to understand Taz better, Specs felt pride in teaching her commander some Spanish. Taz and Up couldn't be any happier with each other, sometimes Up had insecurities about being with Taz, he thought she deserved better than her commander who was eight years older than her, but she always reassured him everything was okay. Taz was supposed to be promoted Commander, but she decided not to take the job in order to stay with him. However, Up knew he wanted more, he was ready to spend the rest of his life with her.

So he went to her room one night, watching the Karate Kid, the good one with Jackie Chan, with her to avoid suspicion. After the ending credits rolled in, he sat up straighter.

"Taz, can I ask you a question?"

"Claro (Of course)."

Up got up from his seat and pulled the small velvet box out of his pocket, which he was itching to get out the entire night and got down on one knee, and started his proposal speech with broken but attempted Spanish.

Entonces, Tazia Esmeralda Maricruz Esperanza López, ¿quieres casarte conmigo? (Taz, from that moment I saved you from those robots at your Quinceañera, I knew that you were something special, and I knew that I had to protect you no matter what. I got overprotective, at first I thought it was a love a father felt towards his daughter, but I knew, deep down, it was something more. The Robot Wars was the time I realized what I felt for you was a lot more than just familial love, it was romantic, it was indescribable. It took us nine whole years to finally admit our undying love for each other, and I know, right now, I want to spend every single moment of the rest of my life with you. So, Tazia Esmeralda Maricruz Esperanza Lopez, will you marry me?)"

Taz stood there, emotionless. Up suddenly lost all faith for a second, before she said, almost inaudibly, "Si (Yes)."
