Lauren had a knack for taking Joey's clothing as her own. Out of his many hoodies, t-shirts and jerseys, most of them had gone missing, only to reappear in Lauren's closet.
The team hoodie was no exception.
Brian had the brilliant idea of a hoodie for every member of Starkid with their last name printed on the back, with a huge number of the year they joined underneath. Everyone was ecstatic to have one, and the day the hoodies arrived was a phenomenal day. Everyone was pulling the overly comfortable hoodies mover their heads and halfway through their rehearsal for their newest show, they looked like the ultimate squad.
Lauren especially loved Joey's hoodie, whenever he had to leave town, she always wore it everywhere she went. Joey, initially, was surprised at his hoodie's disappearance from his suitcase, but the moment he called Lauren, he immediately knew what happened to it.
She was wearing it.
Soon it just became a habit for her to take his hoodie, while he took hers whenever one of them had to go out of town so that they would always have a piece of each other with them.
Lauren had been caught multiple times in public for wearing a hoodie that had Joey's last name on it, and while everyone found it cute, she became more cautious in wearing Joey's stuff. But she had to admit- she wore his hoodie more than her own.

"Lauren! Where's my hoodie?" Joey asked from his room as he heard the front door click open, and Diane rampaging around the house at Lauren's return.
"Last time I saw it, it was on the bed!" Lauren replied, picking up Diane and cuddling her.
Joey came out of the bedroom, "It isn't there."
She approached him, giving him a quick kiss, "It'll turn up, your missing stuff always does."
"Yeah, in your closet," he sat down on the couch, "How was your day?"
"Same old, same old," Lauren dumped her bag down on the couch, "Why don't I put a pizza in the oven? We can chill and watch a movie."
Joey grinned, "Sounds good to me."
As Lauren turned around, Joey caught sight of her back. From the front, he thought she was wearing her own hoodie for once, but on the back, however, it said 'Richter' instead of 'Lopez'.
"Lauren, why did you take my hoodie and tell me that you didn't?" he asked, rolling his eyes, "You know I won't get mad."
She turned around, with an expression on her face that Joey didn't get. It was a mixture of annoyance and hilarity, "Joey, did you catch anything on this hoodie except the last name?"
"No...?"
Lauren turned around again, "Take a look at the number."
Sure enough, when on Joey's own hoodie, it said '09', the one Lauren had on said '07', just like her own.
"You got another one with my last name?" Joey asked, impressed.
Lauren turned to face Joey, chuckling, "Since we got married, I thought your last name could finally apply to me. Onstage, I'm still Lauren Lopez, but offstage, I'm no longer an actress, I'm your wife."
"Come here," Joey stood up and walked over to Lauren, pressing his lips on hers, "That's the sweetest thing you've ever done."
"Sweetest? What about the time I bought you a unicorn onesie?" Lauren faked offense, but still smiling like an idiot.
Joey laughed, "Anddddd old Lauren is back."
