*Gemma's P.O.V*
He's been quiet ever since he came back from the airport.
He hasn't eaten nor did he talk.
"Harry, please. You need to eat something," I tried for the millionth time, knocking on his door. I sighed.
"It's open," I heard his voice.
I twisted the knob to realize the he had unlocked it. I went in with a tray of food and placed it on his bedside table.
"Harry," I said sitting next to him. He was sitting, with his back supported by the headboard and the ring box and the divorce papers messed up in front of him. I picked up the ring box and opened it to see the same ring from years ago, polished and its diamonds shining as the light reflected on them. I closed the box and placed it where it was before, looking at Harry. He sat with his attention fixed on a spot on the bed, emotionless.
"Harry, please talk to me," I tried once again.
"There's nothing to talk about anymore," he replied, clearing his throat.
"Yes there is, I know you couldn't stop Jade but you need to tell me, did she not listen to you?" I asked him. I've been curious the whole time, did she reject him?
"I didn't make it in time," he mumbled.
"So you didn't get to talk to her at all?" I asked him just to assure myself. He nodded swiftly.
"Even if I did make it in time, she would've never listened to me," he mumbled, almost as if he was talking to himself.
"She would've, I'm sure, Harry. She loves you too much to not listen to you. I'm sure she felt just as empty as you did when she left," I explained to him. He stayed silent, not saying a word.
"I have an idea," I informed him but he wasn't phased at all.
"I was wrong. Stopping her at the airport wasn't your only last chance," I said. His attention diverted to me immediately, making me smile.
"It's Christmas in 5 days. Jade will be living in her new house. You, me, the boys and girls are going to Georgia for Christmas!" I exclaimed. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"You're going to say whatever you were going to say at the airport, over there," I told him.
"What makes you think, she'll believe me?" He asked, shrugging my idea off.
"Love makes you believe in anything," I said. He smiled weakly and I knew my job is halfway done.
"Now, please eat the food I've made for you. We need to buy Christmas presents for everyone. Especially for Jade and Brooklyn. And we also need to invite over the boys and girls for planning," I said getting up from his bed.
"Wait, we should ask them to come right now!" I rushed downstairs in excitement. It took me a bunch of phone calls and texts before finally all of them agreed to be here in about 10-20 minutes. I went back up to find Harry done with his food and drinking some water.
"Let's go, can you help me order some pizza for them," I asked and he nodded before I went to the kitchen to check if Harry's fridge actually had some ice cream for the girls and I.
Soon I prepared everything along with placing the loveseats by the couches so everyone could sit.
"They're here," I said getting up as soon as I heard the bell ring. Harry sat on the couch, observing me as I opened the door.
"Hey!" I exclaimed seeing everyone there. Sophia and Eleanor immediately engulfed me as Louis made sarcastic comments about stealing Eleanor from him, with Liam only chuckling.
"There better be good food here. All Harry usually has is like kale juice or salad," Niall said following the boys in. The girls followed them too and I locked the door.
We all sat on the couches and the love seats as everyone looked at each other, then Harry and then made few glances at each other.
"Okay, so Jade left. As you all know," I spoke up.
"Right," Zayn said.
"I'm sorry, mate," Liam patted Harry on the shoulder.
"We never wanted her to leave," Louis spoke up, concerned.
"Harry was supposed to stop her at the airport but he didn't make it in time," I informed them.
"And so I had an idea that we could go surprise her on Christmas," I said.
Louis' face was the first one to lit up, along with the girls and then followed by Niall, Liam and Zayn.
"Yessss!!!" They all squealed in unison.
"We need to get her and little kiddo presents," Zayn mentioned.
"I'm sure she'll love it," Eleanor added.
We all planned and booked our flight tickets for 4 days later, sparing us just 3 whole days to prepare all the presents and everything before we go spend Christmas with Jade.
Harry was quiet for most of the time and it was not nice seeing him that way. He's scared that she won't accept him. Though he said he has something nice planned for Jade.
Louis announced that he'll talk to Jade's brother about this situation and convince him to let Harry speak to Jade. We're all sure, he will though.
And that was our plan.
"I remember you saying how we had to get Harry and Jade together back when we first met Alex," Liam said.
I sighed nodding.
"I hope it works this time," Harry spoke up, we all looked over at him.
"It will, I have a feeling that she's just as down as you are, in Georgia right now," Louis replied.
