Chapter 20: Yours and Mine Havens

About a week later, I was standing on the side of the road, waiting for my ride. Tasha and Destiny were standing with me to make sure people who walked by and noticed who I was didn't cause too much uproar since I would be leaving at any moment.

"We'll meet you at the studio alright? Just have fun and let loose. That's the whole point."

Destiny said causing me to nod in understanding.

"Yes, Destiny. I will have fun just for you."

She rolled her eyes at me but smiled as well.

"And you're free the rest of the day until 7. Then you need to be in the studio."

Tasha said right after. I sighed and nodded again as I saw the black truck pull up.

"Fun."

"Okay."

I dragged out as I opened the passenger door of the car.

"Oh my god. Y/N. What are you doing here?"

"I'm accompanying you to work."

I said smiling at the English TV host.

"Well then let's go shall we?"

"We shall."

James said pulling onto the road and starting our drive.

"So, how's everything been? You seem to be everywhere right now."

"Yeah. It's been crazy. But I'm actually starting my tour now. In a month from now, I'm getting back on the road."

He looked at me shockingly as he pulled up to a red light.

"No way. So the wait is over?"

I nodded, repeating his words.

"Yup. The wait is over."

"Well, I think it's only right that we celebrate with some music."

He messed around with his music as he started foreword again. 2 Reasons started playing making me immediately get happy.

"Aye. This my song!"

He laughed at me as we both started singing and rapping to the song playing. When it was over I did a little cheer.

"Oh my god. This is one of my favorite songs to perform."

"Really? Could it be because you do it without a top on?"

I laughed at him and nodded slightly.

"Maybe, maybe."

"You want to know my favorite song?"

I nodded as he searched for the next song to play. I laughed as the song played.

"Wow. Seriously?"
