Lani,

"Baby!" Chris yelled coming into the bedroom. He laid on me and took Legend from me kissing his cheeks.

"What baby, why you yelling?" I said confused as hell. He smiled handing me a sheet of paper.  Looked it over as a huge smile began to form on my face.

I jumped kissing him all over his face careful not to crush the baby.

"I'm so proud of you!" I screamed kissing his lips. He smiled holding my waist with one hand.

"Thanks ma, I was nervous as hell. It wasn't that bad though. Imma call him tomorrow to let him know imma sign the contract." He said and I nodded laying on him next to Legend.

Chris had changed a lot since we first met. I remember when I couldn't stand him living on the same planet as me now I don't know what I would do without him.

"You went to see Liberty today?" He said and I shook my head no.

"Not today, I'm going first thing in the morning and you are too." I said and he scrunched up his face.

"How you know I don't have nothing to do?" He said and I smacked my lips.

"Liberty is way more important than whatever the fuck it is you gotta do. Don't keep pushing her away that's not fair." I snapped getting irritated.

"I'm not pushing her away. I would just prefer not to see her like that." He spoke but I was already upset. I didn't care for what he had to say right now.

"I see her like that everyday and you don't see me complaining. Don't go I don't care." I got up and left out the room leaving him and Legend. I threw on a jacket and some shoes grabbing the keys and my phone heading the house.

Chris,

Lani was mad for no reason, if I feel uncomfortable seeing her in that environment why the fuck is she mad? She want me to be happy to see my daughter connected to tubes because she's not able to breathe on her own.

What type of shit is that?

"You mama trippin ain't she?" I said to Legend and he smiled showing all gums. I got up out the bed with him in my arms and made him a bottle. He was a chubby ass baby.

After I fed Legend he fell right asleep so I went to his room laying him down. I tried calling Lani phone but she didn't answer and she had me fucked up.

Lani,

"Why didn't you bring the baby?" Tasha said while pouring us both something to drink.

"I wasn't thinking, I just decided to come over. I'll bring him next time." I assured her and she nodded handing me my cup of lemonade.

"Okay, I just wanna see him." She said smiling. I smiled back looking at the TV.

"Where's Jacob?" I asked knowing it was too quiet.

"With Mark, he gets him a few hours everyday and keep him on the weekends." She explained slightly rolled her eyes.

"At least he sees his dad, that's always good." I said drinking some more of my lemonade.

"Yea, when he's not bringing every bitch he meet around my child." She mumbled like I didn't hear but I did. She yawned laying down in her couch. She seemed real tired and paler than usual so I quietly waited for her to fall asleep before leaving her house going back home.

When I back home Chris was in the room with Legend so I stayed in the living room and called Chyna. I didnt really want to be bothered with Chris.

"Hey bitch! You became a stay at home mom and shit I see." Chyna playfully teased as I flipped through channels on the TV.

"I've been so busy, between Legend and making sure I visit Liberty everyday I have no time for much." I insisted settling on watching love and basketball.

"I understand, but at least you got Chris there to help you." She said and I scoffed rolling my eyes.

"Barely, he won't even take his ass up to the hospital to see his own daughter and I don't fuckin understand." I said honestly a little hurt. Chris doesn't see that him not wanting to see our baby makes me feel some type of way.

"What? Why not?" She asked sounding shocked. I shrugged even though she couldn't see me.

"I don't know but that shit hurts. He treats Legend so well but will never go see Liberty. He probably forgets she exist." I confessed shaking my head.

"Maybe he's busy." She said and you could tell by the tone that she didnt even believe that.

"I could care less about his ass being busy, my baby comes first and when they finally release her from the hospital I'll be damned if I let him treat her like she's nothing." I semi yelled getting pissed off. Next thing I knew my phone was snatched from me and thrown across the room. I looked to Chris and he looked enraged.

"Don't talk shit about me on the fuckin phone, you got something to say, say that shit to me!" He yelled standing over me.

"Shut up that's my mutha fuckin phone I say what the fuck I want to who I want!" I yelled back looking up at him. He laughed.

"Fuck you Lani, you mad over some bullshit! Because I don't want to go to the damn hospital?!" He said and I looked at him stupid.

"No! I'm mad because you don't want to see your daughter! Face it Chris you have two kids and yes one was born with difficulties but that does not mean to push her away!" I yelled letting tears fall. He really had me fucked up.

"Who said I was pushing her away? I know how many kids I got, I don't need you to keep track! I'm not pushing her away so shut that shit up." He snapped and I shook my head wiping my tears.

"You are pushing her away! You haven't been two see her in a month and a half and I'm there every fuckin day! Why don't you want to see her?!"

"Lani I have done every fuckin thing in my power to make yo ass happy! You mad over one fuckin thing that doesn't fuckin matter! I'm going to see her you act like I'm abandoning her!" I stood up ready to win this fight.

"Wait, you went above and beyond for me yes that's true but did I not jump out windows for you? Get shot at, and kidnapped multiple times for you? I was there when you were in the hospital! I went to jail for you and to make shit worse I concerned killing my kids for you!" I yelled in his face. He grabbed my arm snatching me up.

"First of fuckin all watch who the hell you raising yo voice at! Second don't act like I don't do shit for you, everything I do and every move I make has you in it and you know it! You tryna make it like I'm favoring Legend over Liberty and that's not true!" He yelled in my face letting me go walking away as Legend started crying.

I filled him in the room and picked up the baby before he could. I laid on the bed with him rockin the both of us to sleep.
