"It's been two days since me and Lani have actually spoken. Everything we say is dry as hell and mainly has something to do with Legend. I hate it, but I'm not about to kiss her ass over it.

She was tryna make me feel bad about something that I can't help. Then on top of that she tried to make it like I was treating Liberty wrong and that's fasho not what's going on.

"Chris, you ready or not?" Ty said snapping me out my thoughts. I blinked a few times coming back to reality. Him and his uncle looked at me weird before motioning for me to get in the booth.

"My bad, I got a lot on my mind." I said that mostly to myself but I knew they heard. I put the headphones on as they started the music. This was exactly what I needed to get Lani amd her bullshit off my mind.

I spent a couple more hours in the studio recording and writing songs so I had plenty to sing at little clubs he was booking me at. I had a good feeling about this.

Lani,

"I have good news for you!" The doctor said walking into the room as I carefully held Liberty and Legend in my arms. They were both asleep.

"Really? Please tell me!" I said excitedly. She smiled looking at her clipboard.

"Your able to take baby Liberty home. This is kind of like a trial, shes been getting way better and can breath on her own but during the night shes gonna need to be hooked up to make sure she doesn't stop." She said and I couldn't contain my excitement.

Finally after almost two months I'm able to bring my baby girl home!

"Thank you so much!" I said kissing the twins both on their foreheads.

"Your welcome, now let me see her so I can get her wrapped up and ready to be taken home." She said and I nodded letting her get Liberty. I out Legend in his carseat and head to the elevator so I could get liberty's carseat out too.

I grabbed hers and headed back upstairs where her and the doctor was waiting. She showed me how to hook her machine up at night then helped me put her in her seat and carry them to my car.

We safely strapped them both in tightly and I got in the driver's seat dialing Chris' number before I left.

"Yea?" He answered dryly and I rolled my eyes.

"The doctors are letting me bring Liberty home, she just has to be hooked up to a breathing machine at night. They still want to monitor her." I said putting the car in gear pulling off.

"Alright, I just made it to the house call me when you get here so I can help you get them out." He said while doing something in the background.

"K." I ended the call and turned the radio up a little.

Ten minutes later I pulled into our driveway and Chris was already waiting for me. He grabbed Legend and the machine while I grabbed Liberty and the diaper bags. We got inside and I wasted no time in picking her up and kissing her all over. This was my first time seeing her without at least twenty things hooked to her.

"I love you!" I cooed putting her to my chest rubbing her back. Chris out Legend in his room since he was still sleeping and carefully took Liberty from me kissing her cheek.

I thought of saying something petty about it but I held my tongue. Its been two days since we've had a civil conversation and I hate it. I want him to stop acting a ass and love me again.

"She so small." He mumbled looking her over. I nodded in silence sitting down on the couch next to them. She smiled sticking her tongue out and I smiled watching Chris play with her.

"You happy to be home with daddy?" He talked to her and she smiled and nodded like she knew what he was talking about.
