Chris,

We walked in the studio doors with the twins and sat their carseats down by the chairs.

"What song you tryna record first?" Ty asked as Redd held Legend.

"Shit ion know. Imma let you do yo shit first." I said yawning. I honestly wasn't in the mood to be here. He opened his mouth to speak but the booth next door was loud. We all got quiet and listened to who it was singing. You could tell that it was a female and she was actually talented.

"Yo, who that?" Redd said like me and Ty would know. I ignored him and continued listening to her. Ty walked out our booth and next door to hers so I followed him.

"Lani?" We both said in disbelief. She took off the headphones and looked at me like she saw a ghost.

"Yea...?" She said lowly and I continued staring without saying a word. I was lost and had nothing to say. Part of me was mad that she hadn't said anything to me about this at first but the other part was shocked that she could sing.

"So while I'm missing my fuckin meetings your here singing and shit?" I said as anger took over me. She came out the recording booth and walked over to me.

"Excuse me? You out me and my schedule to the side everyday of my life and now that I don't give a fuck anymore your mad? Fuck you Chris." She said calmly shaking her head.

I kept quiet and grabbed her by her arm tightly pushing her against the wall. She looked up at me scared but at the moment I didn't give a fuck.

"I told you to watch who the fuck you be talking to. I'm not finna let yo ass talk to me stupid so correct yourself now." I said through gritted teeth gripping her arm tighter.

"Let me go." She said softly not looking at me.

"Nah, what's all that shit you was talking? Don't get embarrassed out here Lani." I whispered in her ear and let her go walking out the room and back into the other one where the twins were.

"Come get them." I semi yelled sitting down. Moments later she stormed in the room and took Legend out of Redd's hands putting him in his carseat.

She grabbed them and their bag leaving the studio. I didn't give a fuck about her attitude at the moment because she had me fucked up.

"You wrong as hell." Ty mumbled shaking his head but I ignored him. I didn't do shit wrong.

That was it. He wanted to play games so game on bitch. Time for me to boss the fuck up and i bet I can do it while still being a great mom to my babies.

I strapped them in the backseat making sure it was safe then hopped in the front seat and pulled off. Fuck the bullshit I'm doing me. I called Chynas phone hoping she answered. I needed a favor.

"Hey baby!" She answered and I smiled.

"Hey boo, can I ask a question?" I said stopping at a red light.

"Yea wassup?"

"Okay well, I know you know someone that's a promoter. I need to get my name out there in the open and you have so many hook up to shit like that." I explained keeping my eyes on the road.

"Girl you know I got you! Trust and believe I got every hook up there is. I tried to tell Ty bit he feel like he can do it on his own." She said and I chuckled a little.

"Thanks so much boo, I need one as soon as possible so pleaseeee try to find one." I said pulling into McDonald's drive thru.

"Fasho boo, but imma go lighted getting into shit." We ended our called and I quickly ordered me something to eat then headed to me and Chris house.

I got the twins out and into the house then put them in their swings and started packing some of my clothes. If I was gonna boss up I needed to get my stuff out his house.

It took me about an hour to get all my things in the car then it took another hour for me to pack some of the twins things. I wasnt gonna force him to do anything anymore. If he wanted to see them it was his choice. If not then that's that.

"Come on Mami." I said in a baby voice to Liberty as I put her back in her carseat. I wanted to leave before Chris came home. I got them back in the car but of course they picked now to start screaming.

"Sssh please." I pleaded getting in the front seat. They was just gonna have to scream right now cause I wasn't staying any longer. I pulled off and waited until I was a couple blocks away to stop the car and give them their pacifiers. Once they quieted down I got back up front and started the engine again going to Tasha's house.

She helped me get the twins and our things and bring them inside. "why are y'all out so late?" She asked once everything was inside. I sighed sitting on the couch.

"I'm leaving Chris. It's time for me to think about me and mine." I explained and she smiled giving me a high five.

"That's good. Don't depend on no man for shit." I laughed grabbing the air mattress that I had brought with me. "You don't want to sleep in your room?" She asked and I immediately shook my head. I didn't need a reply of last night.

She looked st me and nodded like she understood. I watched her take the twins out the seats and hold them smiling.

"I really am sorry about the shit I put you through Lani. Trust me if I could change it all I would without any hesitation. Even after all the shit I did to you, you gave me another chance and I love you so much for that." She said and I smiled faintly nodding my head.

"I know, and I love you too." I said blowing up the bed. I out my clean sheets on it and laid the baby blanket in the middle for the twins to sleep on. I out pillows next to it so they couldn't roll then took them out of Tasha's hand and laid them down.

She said goodnight and headed upstairs leaving me downstairs with them. I put them to bed then grabbed our things and found some clothes for tomorrow. I grabbed my phone and headphones laying down.

I found you a promoter, call me in the morning so I can give details. - babymama 😍🔐

Damn that was fast. I thought to myself shooting a quick reply. I put on some music and locked my screen soon drifting off.
