Clarke
Raven and O sat comfortably on the couch next to me. Raven's legs were laid over mine and Octavia's.
"Man, those Nightbloods are work," Raven said. "I don't know how she does it."
"Who?" Octavia asked.
"Lexa."
I smiled. "She loves them," I explained. "They're not work at all."
"Speaking of, what is this about her sister?" Octavia asked.
I sighed. "Her sister, Luna, she came in while Lexa and I were sleeping."
Raven's eyes widened. "What happened?"
"Lexa, uh..." I said, thinking of Lexa landing on her sister with crazed eyes. It was disturbing—the way she didn't hesitate to remove the knife even after she knew it was her sister. That's when Clarke realized there was one person who made Lexa weak, and not in a good way. "She attacked Luna."
Raven smirked. "Classic Lexa."
I rolled my eyes. Raven didn't really know Lexa enough to say "Classic Lexa", but it made me happy that Raven could joke about the brunette in this way. Lexa had tied Raven to a tree and almost killed Raven, and Raven had seemed to forgiven her. I smiled at the thought of them being friends. Maybe it was for my sake, or maybe they actually got along. Either way, I was happy.
"Wait, wait, wait. Her name's Luna?" Octavia asked.
I nodded.
"Lincoln and I were going to her after the Grounders attacked the drop ship," Octavia said, her eyes glossing over. I could see thoughts and memories stirring in her head--thoughts of simpler times. "And before we were going to kill Pike."
"I'm glad you didn't." I said. If Luna was this manipulative person around Lexa, I could assume she was like this around her people.
"So what's Lexa gonna do?" Raven asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I don't know." I murmured. Luna did something to her. I could see it in her eyes; they grew dark and empty whenever the subject came up. I had never seen her like this, and it scared me.
The door opened and Lexa walked in hurriedly.
"Would you like to learn how to swim today?" Lexa asked me. She smiled forcefully. I glanced at Octavia and Raven and they shrugged.
Lexa seemed impatient. Her face was expectant, trying to force the answer out of me. She looked haunted, and like she was desperate for a distraction. She had been like this all morning, and I had a feeling it was about Luna. I needed to know more. What had happened? Why was she acting like this? I could only think the worst.
I turned back toward Lexa and smiled hesitantly. "Yes."
Lexa and I stood by the pond she had shown me earlier. Now it was quiet without the noise of the Nightblood's sticks clashing or their playful banter. The only noise in our ears was that of the wind rustling through the trees and the rush of the waterfall.
I was glad to see the look in her eyes had changed to a peaceful, content gleam. She smiled and listened intently when I spoke, and seemed to enjoy being in the moment. Luna no longer seemed to plague her thoughts. I yearned to ask her what troubled her so much, but I didn't want to ruin anything. I didn't want to lose her.
Lexa immediately began stripping down. She removed her shoes and then started to pull her pants down. I watched with hungry eyes as I stared at her perfectly sculpted thighs.
