Chris's POV

I stood over by the candle lit table when she walked up. She was beautiful and I couldn't seem to take my eyes off of her body. Her hips swayed like an old cloth in powerful winds. She smiled at me and I couldn't help but to smile back at her. She made it to me and I gave her a hug before pulling out her chair.

"This is absolutely beautiful Chris," she spoke while sitting down. I nodded at her in thanks and sat across from her. She smiled a little and tucked her hair behind her ear before she spoke again.

"Why did you do all of this?"

I looked past her shoulder and shrugged a little.

"I wanted to do something special because you let me stay in your house..." I murmured.

Raegan nodded and smiled. I reserved for an orchestra to play her favorite songs and a chef to make her favorite meal. We watched the light flicker against the glare of the water. It was perfect.

For once, I looked up and saw the light sparkle in her dark brown eyes. She stared out in amazement and I looked back down at my lap. I was actually making someone happy.

During the date, we ate and talked. Well, she did most of the talking but I didn't mind it too much. I usually didn't talk much and of course, I wasn't going to start today. After we ate, I took her back home and we went our separate ways.

I went to my room and sat on the bed. For a while, I thought about the day I had with Raegan and realized there was actually a smile across my face. I smiled because she was actually making me happy. For once, someone was actually making me smile a real smile. Not like the one you give a member of your church every Sunday morning. I took off the clothes I had on that day and went to go to bed when the doorbell rang. I didn't care of it too much because I knew Raegan or Henry was going to answer it. I got in the bed and closed my eyes to rest.

Raegan's POV

I ran to the door and opened it. Michael stood at the door and smiled. I smiled back at him and let him in to sit.

"Hey Raegan," he spoke through his smile.

"Hey, Ty. What's up? Where's your little angel?"

"She's with her mom for the weekend. I came to see you though. How was your date?" he asked.

"It was pretty awesome. He didn't say much but that he wanted to thank me for letting him stay here."

Ty nodded at me and moved a little closer. I cuddled into his chest and we talked for what seemed hours.

"Rae?" he spoke quietly.

"Yeah, Ty?"

"I love you" he mumbled.

"I love you too." I smiled up at him and he stared into my eyes. My heart melted and I tried to break the stare from him but it wasn't working. His soft hands caressed my cheek as his face moved closer to mine. I licked over my lips before he chuckled and pulled back slowly.

"I want to but I'm just reluctant..." he trailed off. I looked away slightly and blew out a sigh of relief. Chris was upstairs and I didn't want this to lead to something I wouldn't want it to.

Michael's face leaned into mine once again. This time we stared into each other's eyes before his eyes closed. This time I knew it was going to happen.

His lips met mine. I was kissing my best friend. His soft lips travelled down my neck when I pushed his snapback off to touch his hair.
