~Anna's POV~

Tch. Curse my weakness.

I cursed inwardly looking at my bandaged hand that punished Itachi for calling me weak. Sure it must have hurt him, but I was soooooooo frail that it hurt me back, or his face was just made of stone. Maybe thats it. No wonder he's so stoic all the time.

Since I didn't sign up for any clubs, I got to leave right after PE, while Konan and most stayed, including Itachi. Eric texted me to wait so we could go home together.

I switched my shoes and waited outside the middle school gates for my brother and when he arrived, we both started our walk.

"Ahem sis?" Eric broke the silence and I looked back at him, with a nonchalant expression.

"Yes?"

"Your hand."

"Its nothing." I answered casually and shifted my gaze back on the road in front of me. I didn't have to look to see the look Eric would be giving me, I could feel it. "Eric, don't give me that look." I said without looking back at him.

"Then don't give me lies." I sighed. "What happened to your hand?"

"Fine. I had to run a two hundred meters-"

"YOU WHAT?!" He stopped and I did too. Oh boy did he look pissed.

"No big deal brother. Calm down jeez, I am fine."

"You know the consequences, why would you even think of-" I didn't let him finish and gave him the look only a person such as myself can give.

"When you are not allowed to do things that you love to do and called weak for something you didn't wish for, Eric, you try proving everyone wrong and show them your strength. Thats why I did it."

"Doesn't explain your hand." Thank goodness he let go of the topic. I smirked.

"That," I fisted my bandaged hand, "was what Itachi received, for calling me weak." Eric shook his head.

"Please be a little careful sis."

"Hai, hai."

~Itachi's POV~

I continued washing my face with cold water to soothe the redness, a certain somebody's beating caused. I won't say I didn't deserve it. Heck, it would have shocked me if she didn't hit me, knowing she hated being called weak.

I wiped my hands and right at that moment, my phone rang. I got it out to look at Konan's message, telling me to wait for her by the shoe lockers. I sighed.

Here comes a lecture.

I waited patiently, as I was told, and wondered what would it be about. I was betting against all odds that Konan was going to lecture me about Anna. Against all odds, which were very negligible.

"Itachi." I heard Konan call and walked to her.

"Was that all you were going to say?" I asked when she didn't say anything.

"No." She fumed a little. "I was going to give you a nice lecture about Anna but that said person just texted me to not do that."

"So can I go?"

"No. Even if I can't tell you everything, I can ask you to be careful about the fights you pick with Anna. She isn't the same person, ok? Her life...Her life it...changed-"

"What changed?" I knew that much that something did change but I was curious as to what did. "You do know that I saw the weird colour medicine she took, right?"

Konan looked worried for a second. "You did...?" Was it something I shouldn't have seen?

"So if you are telling me to not to enrage her, tell me what was that medicine for?" I asked. It felt like the right and legitimate question to ask. Much to my surprise, the blue haired girl grinned.

"Why Itachi? Are by any chance, interested?"

"Hell no."

"Look if you want to know, ask her." She said simply. I 'tch'ed and looked away. "Anyways, I just had to tell you not to do what you did today because of reasons Miss Anna doesn't want you to know. See you tomorrow~" She sung and left.

Weird girls. Both of them.

Sighing, and pushing the curiosity of knowing about my rival's weakness to the back of my mind, I changed my shoes and started the walk back home.
