Chapter 93

~Itachi's POV~

" Itachi, we would land in just a few minutes. I know you must be worried, but try to relax." My mother told me.

We were all in the flight back to Konoha and I couldn't stop worrying for Anna and it expressed itself in the form of my tapping fingers and feet.

" I'm trying."

Shisui had called me later the second day and told me that Anna still had that fever, I couldn't calm down. Still, there was some time before the plane landed so I tried keeping my nerves under control.

By the time the plane landed, it was 9 AM in Konoha and once we were done with all the security and stuff and out to the roads, I told my mother I would be taking a train directly to Anna's but my father seemed to object to that.

" Itachi, she isn't that important. Your rest comes first." He said in a really strict tone, the tone to which I must oblige always, but not this time.

" She is more important. I need to know and see for myself what her condition is."

" No."

" I won't be able to rest if I don't see her." I thought it would make a point but it didn't, so I resorted to my last weapon, my mom. I gave her a pleading look and she immediately understood and whispered something in his ear.

" Ok. Fine." My father sighed and I hugged my mother for a thank you and walked to the station which wasn't that far away.

When I knocked on the door, Max opened it and a grin made its way to his face.

" Itachi-nii!"

" I'd love to chat Max but I need to see Anna." His shoulders dropped and he pouted.

" Jeez, its like sis had a baby that's making you run to see her so urgently." He mumbled under his breath. I sighed and ruffled his hair.

"I would be there at that time. I won't have to run."

" Fine fine. I think she's asleep but I think she won't be." Max said leading me to Anna's room.

" What do you mean-"

" I'M GONNA KILL YOU UGLY!!" I stopped mid-question when I heard the familiar yelling from the girl's room, followed by a laughing Shisui exiting that room.

" I'd love to see you try!" He yelled back but as he turned around to descend the stairs, he came face to face with a not-so-impressed me. " Itachi! Good to see you're back. Your girlfriend seriously needs to see you man." He winked and left with Max who complained the way down.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, I increased my pace and arrived in Anna's room. The sight was very hidden. Actually she was hidden, in the covers.

I knocked on the door on my way in but didn't say a thing that would give away my identity.

" If its you again Ugly then prepare to die!" She yelled from beneath the covers.

" Ugly? I'm hurt."

" Stop mimicking him."

" Who's mimicking who?" I put one knee on the bed and advanced my hand to grab the sheet and yanked it in a swift motion. " I'm pretty sure I'm the original." I smirked at her surprised reaction.

" ITACHI!!"

" Yo." She jumped on me and hugged me tightly. " Yaa, I missed you too."

"I wanted to come to the airporttttttt sorryyy." Anna said in an apologising tone and sat back on the bed and I did too.
