Chapter 32

~Anna's POV~

We now sat on a bench eating shaved ice with different juices and extracts on it with lemon.

"Yum. I will try making some of it at home." I finished that and went to eat the fish and takoyaki and choco dipped banana and after that finishing my meal I stood up.

"You done already?" Itachi asked with a look of disbelieve.

"You've seen me eat more in less amount of time. Now hurry up! I wanna go to the wheel."

" You're gonna throw up."

"Nah. It will get digested when we walk towards the oh so mighty Ferris wheel."

"Alright." Itachi soon finished his snacks and we were both on our way to the wheel. Itachi told me that normally they didn't have Ferris Wheels in festivals but some people finally got funded to build one for travelling circuses and stuff.

I got seated next to Itachi and when the ride started I scooted really close to him and grabbed his arm. He looked at me with curious eyes but I was more concerned about not falling.

"Did I tell you that I fear that this thing might fall and we might die?" I asked with my voice shaking a little.

"You saw Mighty Joe, didn't you?"

"Yeah. It gave me a scare of this ride."

Soon the wheel ascended to the maximum height and my mouth went a gape as my vision admired the beauty.

" WOW! I can see the whole city from up here!" I yelled.

"I know. I'm sitting right beside you." Itachi said smirking. Even though my face was getting red, I didn't let his arm go as we were pretty much still quite high.

When we landed my head started spinning so I leaned on Itachi for some support.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. This always happen." I answered holding my head. Thankfully the aches subsided and we both continued on our walk.

I looked for another game that I hadn't played yet and jumped in joy when I spotted the hoopla stall.

"Come on! Let's go to hoopla!" I took Itachi's hand again, and ran in the direction.

I got to the stand and the guy behind it handed me five rings and showed me the targets. I scored the first four very easily but as I was about to shoot the fifth one a sharp pain ascended my leg and in my whole body which caused me to miss the target. The brief pain went away and my breathing became laboured.

"I'm sorry miss but you lost." The guy said.

"Yeah man, no worries." I waved it off but I was still a bit sad for losing.

"I will play next." Itachi said as he took his place and within no time he came to me "Here." He handed me a stuffed grizzly bear.

"You sure? This is a bit cliche Itachi."

"I won it for you. You don't look too good in a sad face." Itachi said smiling. He noticed.

"Alright. I accept it." Itook the bear from him and hugged it close. "It looks like you! Its a grizzly too!"

"Come on. There's one final thing left from the festival." Itachi said and started walking.

"Hey wait!" I yelled as I ran behind him to catch up.

We both were constantly walking and my legs were starting to hurt now so I desperately needed to stop.

"Oi, how long?" I asked, tiredly.

"We are here." He replied and I looked around. The bank of the canal. Not many people but a great view of the sky.

"FINALLY! MY LEGS ARE KILLING ME!!" I exclaimed with a sigh of relief and sat on the grassy field. Itachi came and sat by me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. So why are we here?"

"The fireworks. They're about to start anytime now. So just lean back and enjoy the view." Itachi said as he lay on the grass with his hands folded behind his head and he was staring at the sky.

He looks even sexier in the moonlight. Uffu... What am I thinking?!?!

My thoughts were broken by a loud boom. I looked at the sky and it was lit with all colours of the spectrum.

"Beautiful." Was the only word that escaped my lips as I admired the wonderful fireworks in the sky.

I hugged my knees close and enjoyed the show. It truly was pretty.

Later that night when the festival was over, we walked home. I was tired, my feet were sore but I didn't complain. I had a great time in the festival and Itachi's presence made it all the best.

Now I stood in front of the door of my house with the keys in my hand but I still had something to do.

"Thanks Itachi. I had the best time." Ithanked him.

"No problem. I had fun too. Maybe for the first time in a very long time."

"Ya. So um- goodnight. Thanks for taking me with you." I ascended and getting on my toes I planted a kiss on his cheek then immediately ran in the house with a red face.

OH MY GOD?!?! Did I just do that?!?! Why did I do that?!?! Yumm.. He tasted so good!! GROSS!! But he did! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!?!

I went into my room and placing the stuffed grizzly on my dresser, I changed into something comfy and went to sleep with sweet thoughts lingering my mind.

~Itachi's POV~

Did she just do that?!?! Why am I blushing?!?! It felt good!! Why am I thinking that?!?!

These thoughts still roaming your mind I went into the house. Thank goodness Sasuke was asleep. I sighed in relief.

"Awwh niisan, I never thought I would see that. You know you're gonna get caught on fire if you keep blushing like that." Maybe I spoke too soon for Sasuke was sitting in the living room watching TV with a smirk on his face.

"Go to sleep Sasuke." I tried keeping a straight face.

"I don't think I can. After watching that I might just end up waiting for the sun to rise."

"Whatever. I'm going to sleep. Don't stay up too long." I told him and left for my room and with Anna still in my thoughts I went to sleep.
