Chapter 41

~Anna's POV~

I opened my eyes lazily and looked here and there to get some perspective because I didn't remember sleeping. As I got up and started to walk downstairs, my head starting hurting.

Ugh. This is new.

After the aches subsided, I resumed walking downstairs but stopped and hid myself when I heard Tim talking to Itachi?

What is he doing here?

"Itachi, I want you to keep an extra eye on her and make sure she doesn't do anything suicidal." Tim told him.

"I will."

"I don't want my sister half dead again."

Damn them all! Plotting things behind my back and spilling my secrets.

I decided this was the best time to make my presence known so I casually went into the kitchen and got a banana. Bananas are good.

"You're awake?" Tim asked.

"No duh. I'm sleeping walking." I stated plopping on the couch.

"How are you feeling?"

"Backstabbed."

"Huh?"

"Nevermind." But he seemed to have got it.

"We don't want you to go back to your old methods."

"Butt out."

"They are your brothers. They care Anna." Itachi said.

"Why are you here? Even though they told you my past you still have no right to bitch me."

" Fine. I will be leaving then." He said left.

Didn't mean to be like that. I will apologize later.

"Listen. I don't intend on doing those things again. Hide my medications if you must but I ain't breaking my promise to Marcus."

"Alright."

"I will give you the syringes and morphine."

"Where did you get those!!" Eric asked/screamed.

"Where else? The hospital." I said and got up dumping the banana peel in the bin.

"Where are you going now?"

"To get some sleep, again." I replied as I headed to my room.

Later that night as I drifted into slumber my nightmares started.

I was running in the rainy night. Thunder boomed in the sky. I loved rain but thunder scared the hell out of me.

I ran and ran but skidded to a halt upon seeing some blood. I followed the trail and it lead to a dead body. The body I knew very well.

Red hair. Blue eyes. Slightly pink lips. My love. My Marcus.

Blood seeped through his mouth. He was tortured and now dead. I couldn't help but just sit in the mud staring at his body with horror.

Suddenly he opened his eyes and looked at me. I got scared as his eyes were a deep red colour. He stood up and continued to look at me with those hateful eyes.

I backed up a few steps as he was advancing towards me. You kept backing up and ultimately ran out of space.

"You let me die Anna."

"N-no." I noticed bodies of my other loved ones also rising from the ground and looking at me with the same eyes.

"You should've died instead." Emily said.

"If you hadn't gotten yourself in trouble I would be alive right now." My father pressed.

"I died because of you." Mother said.

"I d-didn't."

"I loved you Anna and your love killed me!"

"You killed us all!"

"N-no. Please."

"Its all your fault!"

"I hate you!"

"You don't deserve to live either!"

"You should be dead as well!"

"N-NO!!"

My eyes shot open and I sat up. I was covered in cold sweat and scared. I wanted to just hide myself from the world and cry.

I got up from the bed and decided to get something to eat. I went into the kitchen and got out an apple. Chewing on the fruit I went back in my room and tried sleeping again but my efforts were futile.
