~Anna's POV~

"I didn't know you could lie that well."

"There are many things you don't know grizzly. Suck it up." I was annoyed with Itachi for denying a challenge. I sighed and kept walking, my mind trying to find explanations for my aching legs. Thankfully the grizzly kept quiet, maybe he was listening to whatever he listen to all the time.

"Anna." I looked back at Itachi.

"Hmm?" I found it a little difficult to bring out any word since I had no energy right now. Wonder where it went.

"Is it true you have cardiomyopathy?" I looked up at the sky and sighed. He really was persistent about some things.

"So what if I do?" I asked, nonchalantly and was forced to stop by a hand on my shoulder. When I followed the direction, my somewhat sorrowful eyes met Itachi's sympathetic ones.

"Who died?" He asked in a small voice. I shook his hand away and continued my walk, after replying in an equally incoherent voice.

"Everybody."

One word was all it needed. Memories came flooding in my head, overwhelming me. I saw it all happen again, even when I had my eyes open and my mind awake. One by one, they fell. Dad. Emi. Mom.

Marcus.

Ugh!

It was that pain again. In my heart. I fell on my knees and got my tablets out of my pockets. I couldn't open the bottle, my eyes were blurring and my hands were shaking.

"Oi! Let me do it!" I assumed it was Itachi who took the bottle from my hands because neither I could see well nor distinguish sounds, not to mention the pain! "Just swallow it." I felt the medicine on my tongue and I did what I was told.

~Itachi's POV~

"You are going to be ok." I soothed the girl's breathing by patting her back. Though I said it, there were no signs as if she'd be ok.

It really surprised me when she fell all of a sudden. More than that, the tightness of her hand on her chest was more shocking.

People passing by were giving us odd looks but they had no idea how much pain Anna was in or they'd stop and help themselves. It was a good thing she wasn't alone at such a moment.

I helped the girl stand after I was sure she was ok to walk. Don't get me wrong though, its only natural to care for a hurting person and I knew for a face that she was more than hurting.

"Thanks." She said simply and started walking.

"You should go to a doctor." I advised, walking a few paces back. She had her eyes fixed on the road, as if she was thinking hard on something. Maybe she was was.

"Don't tell anybody about what happened." I was shocked. What sort of command or request or order is that? People, especially her brothers should know.

"Why?" I had no idea I was capable of being surprised so many times in one day. Anna looked back at me with a smirk.

"They worry too much." She winked.

Is this girl right in the head? One moment she is suffering and the other, its like nothing happened.

"Oi-"

"Itachi. I will skip school tomorrow to go to my doc. Just don't tell anybody." I nodded. I guess that was ok.

"You have your own doctor?" I asked to keep the conversation going, trying to figure out the about the missing years.

"Hmm."

"What kind of?"

"A heart failure specialist."

"What?!" I stopped but then continued when Anna didn't stop. She only laughed a little.

"Not that shocking grizzly. Worse things have happened before." And again, she winked.

"What kind of things-"

"And we are home~ See ya later buddy~"

"Take care and good luck for tomorrow." She smiled and slapped my back.

"Of course~" I shook my head and went to my house, but only after confirming that she made it safely to hers.
