Chapter 7

~Anna's POV~

Once the teacher arrived, I took my seat. Our homeroom teacher was a tall man in his late twenties perhaps. He had grey hair that defied gravity and covered his left eye. He also wore a mask on his face. The only thing prominent, was his right eye.

"Good morning class. Now be quiet so I can take your attendance." He said lazily, all the while scanning the class. "Ah right, before that, we have a new student." And like everywhere else, there started muttering in the class and people started noticing my presence for the first time. It isn't like I just threw off my Invisibility Cloak. I was here the whole time before homeroom. Stupid people. "Come and introduce yourself, Miss Anna."

How does he know my name? O.O

I stood up and walked all the way to the front and took the piece of chalk I was offered to write my name. Strange as it may seem, I never knew the proper kanji for my name so I used katakana.

I had no idea what to say so I just stuck with basic greetings. "Hello, I am Anna. Its nice to meet you all. I look forward to being in class with you. Thank you." Surely it was a little formal but these guys would have plenty of time to know the real me. Bwahahhahahahahaha!!

"And I am Hatake Kakashi, your homeroom and Math teacher." I bowed politely to him and went back to my seat in the back.

He took attendance first then said he would be like ten minutes late for his class so we should all behave and revise for today's lecture and he was gone after that.

"Konan, who's taking Japanese I?" I asked my ladyfriend.

"Oh that, its the principal." She answered and took my schedule from me, to write the names of all the teachers. Oh the contrast between my friend and my rival.

"The principal. I see." Then something clicked. "THE PRINCIPAL?!"

"Yes, it isn't that weird. Is it?" She along with almost everybody thought I had gone nuts.

"U-uh no. Its just I have never heard of principal taking classes. I mean, don't they have like office stuff to do?"

"They have but he likes teaching us, says its to pass on the Will of Fire or something of that sort to the younger generation."

"Sounds pretty cool."

And so right on his time, appeared Mr. Principal, whose name was Sarutobi Hiruzen, I found out later. He taught Japanese from a hearty passion and even though I thought an old man teaching would be boring, I was made to eat my words.

Next I had Science I with Asuma sensei, grandson of the principal, then Contemporary Science with Obito-sensei. He was Kakashi-sensei's friend and from Itachi's family. Wow these people are connected at a big level.

"Finally recess~" I relaxed and slumped in my seat. "I am dyingggggggggggg!!!"

"Weren't you looking forward to school just a week earlier?" I heard Itachi comment from somewhere.

"First days are always boring Grizzly." I mumbled with my eyes closed.

"Don't worry Anna, we have PE at the end-" Konan started and I jumped.

"Oh boy! PE! I AM FIRED UP!!"

"What have you been watching? Fairy Tail lately?" She asked in a dumbfounded way. I grinned.

A few more odd people entered the class and now I was utterly curious about their identities. I mean, when people look confused about their gender or like fishes or plants and have red hair, of course it would spark interests.

"Ne, Konan, what's up with that bunch with Itachi?" I asked my friend, pointing at my other friend.

"Oh right! I must introduce them to you! We actually stick together as a group so yes, why not? Come on." And she dragged me to the weird people.

We stopped near the uh... Konan's friends and they all started eyeing me with strange stillness.

"Oh come on guys don't stand there like statues, introduce yourself to my long-lost-now-found-best-lady friend." Konan told them, giving a really long reference about me.

"Yo, I am Anna." I introduced myself first since its common courtesy.

"I'm Deidara, hmm." The cross-dresser-confused-about-his-gender-guy spoke. I eyed him suspiciously then the question went out of my mouth before I had the time to really think about it.

"Are you a hermaphrodite?"

Right after I said it, I heard painful sounds and looking in the direction, I found Grizzly choking and the fish guy patting his back.

"I get it. Everyone mixes me up for the first time hmm. But this is art too. Hmm." Deidara said.

"Yes I can really see it!" I exclaimed truthfully with stars in my eyes. "You have pretty hair too!"

"Thanks. I guess hmm." He blushed a little.

"I am Hidan. Its f****** nice to f****** meet you." The one with silver hair said. I wolfwhistled.

"Sweet Lord, someone to match my language." And one by one they went on. The masked guy was Kakuzu, the plant guy was Zetsu, one of the red-heads was Sasori-Deidara' man-, the fish guy was Kisame, the other red-head was Nagato, he had really mesmerising eyes. "Oh I know the rest of you." I said.

"Of course you know me little Ann." The orange haired guy and Konan's lover, Yahiko said, ruffling my hair. I knew him from Konan's and mine video chats and messages and calls and what not.

"You know Itachi already?" Kisame asked with a smirk.

"Of course. I have known him for quite a few years now." I answered looking at him. "Don't get the wrong idea though, this boring guy here, is my rival." I mentioned, patting Itachi on the back, a bit harder than intended.

"Just your rival?" Yahiko grinned, elbowing me, Konan joined him. For some reason, I was red in the face.

"Of course!" I said with a pout and turned immediately to hide my burning face. "Konan, lead the way to food." I ordered her.

"Hai hai~" I could feel the smile in her voice.

I really love being back to Konoha~
