Chapter 31

~Anna's POV~

When we arrived at the festival I saw there were many stalls which had games, food, candy and toys. The lights were lovely.

"So pretty." I said under my breath. We met Konan and Yahiko at the entrance but soon parted ways.

"Where do you wanna go first?" Itachi asked and I glanced here and there.

"I don't know. What comes first, I guess." He nodded and we both started walking until I spotted the gun game.

" Let's go there! I love that game!" I pointed in the direction and took Itachi's hand, leading him that way.

" You sure you wanna play this game?"

"Yeah! I'm like a master in shooting." I informed him to clear his doubt.

The guy behind the stall came and started explaining. " All you have to do it shoot these ten targets and win two tickets to the Ferris Wheel. You'll be given ten shots, one for each. Only for twentyfive yen."

"Sounds like a fair deal." I thought and handed him the money but Itachi had already paid him.

I got the gun and adjusted it to the target. Pulling the trigger, the first target went down. On passing shots, about eight went down and now I shot the ninth.

I noticed a small crowd gathering around me and cheering and clapping for me on every right shot. Only the tenth target was left now.

I adjusted for the last target and pulled the trigger. Everything seemed to have gone in slow motion. I could even see the shot hit the target as it fell.

"YEAH!!!!" I jumped in victory as me audience cheered and clapped for my victory.

"Nice job Miss. Here." He handed me the tickets and I gave him his gun back.

"I'm impressed." Itachi said as you both started walking again. "Most of these are stuck to the table but you managed."

" Ha! I told ya I am a legend!"

" Come on. The next game is my pick." Itachi said and led me to the game.

I noticed the game he liked was for men but that didn't mean I was scared. I never knew they had this in Japan. Maybe limited edition sorta?

I saw some men crowding the surrounding area as Itachi led me to the dealer. The game was a simple show of strength. I had to hit the panel with a humongous hammer and get the bell to the highest point to win.

Itachi paid the dealer and he looked at him like he did something wrong.

" You'll take two turns sir?" The dealer asked.

" No. One's for her." Itachi replied gesturing to me. I waved.

"Ladies don't usually play this game."

"This one does. She's different."

" Alright then." He handed Itachi the hammer and Itachi took his place.

When the panel was hit, the bell went up to 93. Itachi looked happy with that.

" That's the highest anyone have scored." The dealer complemented. " Your turn miss." He handed me the hammer.

Damn! It is so heavy.

I heard some men behind you say things like "A girl?! You've got to be kidding!"

"What can a girl do?!"

"Girls are weak! She's gonna cry to her boyfriend about how much her arms hurt!" Then they started snickering.

That's it! First of all, I'm not weak! And second of all! ITACHI IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!! I'm GONNA SHOW THESE GOONS WHAT I'm MADE OF!!

Itachi must have noticed my anger as he turned to the group of men. "Now you'll see why I said she's different."

I took my place, lifting the hammer, I brought it down so hardly that when the panel was hit, it ascended the bell to 94. I couldn't contain my joy.

"WEAKLING MEN!! I WON!!" They didn't say anything. " Ha!! WHAT HAPPENED! WET YOUR PANtS?!?!" I asked pointing at them.

"I can't believe I lost to you." Itachi said in a daze.

" Girls are mightier than guys. Especially ones like me."

" Don't flatter yourself. You used science."

"You're just grumpy cuz you lost. Aww poor Itachi, lost to a girl. Brains before brawns." I taunted in a baby voice.

"Whatever." The dealer came to us both and handed me two bag full of coins.

"Sweet. Money."

" Where do you wanna go next?" Itachi asked as we both left the crowd of those stinking men. We played the goldfish game next and when I was asked about the next thing I had only one thing on my mind.

"Snacks. I'm hungry. Now that I think of it I didn't even had lunch. Man, I'm hungry." I answered.

"Alright." Itachi chuckled a little which was a bit weird but still caused me to smile.

There were so many food stalls and I was literally drooling. Everything looked so good.

"I will take two of these, these and these." I ordered and when Itachi was about to pay I shook my head. "I got this. Let me waste the game money." Thankfully, he let me.
