~Anna's POV~

The next day I pleaded Eric to go to school early and thankfully he obeyed. When we got there, the whole class was empty so I took my seat and rested my head on the table, in hopes that somehow sleep would come to me but it didn't. My mind was too aware. Soon students started filling in and I felt a presence beside me. It was Itachi.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Yo..." You replied tiredly.

"You okay?"

"I didn't get any sleep last night."

"Oh." He took the seat beside me, since the kid still hadn't arrived. I decided to say what had been bothering me since yesterday.

"I'm sorry." Itachi seemed surprised.

"What for?"

"For being a bitch yesterday. I know you want to help but I can't trouble you with that."

"Its not trouble. Besides if I didn't want to help, why would I be considering about talking to the principal about letting you have some rest."

"Huh?" I asked confused. What kind of rest?

"I was thinking maybe you should skip a class per day. All six classes in a day, back to back, its a lot to handle and I can see it stress you a lot."

"You're right about the stress but..."

"Don't worry. I will tutor you the missing lectures." I just kept looking at him, not knowing how to respond. "I mean Konan can help too. But I still have to think up about something to keep an eye on you when you are skipping."

"I won't do anything. Even though Marcus is dead, I still respect the promises we made. You know when he threatened me that if I didn't change back to normal he was gonna leave me and never come back. I was so scared at that time and wanted to just end my life but he gave me a chnace. I'm not wasting that chance. I'm not going to get him to be disappointed in me again. I won't go back to old methods. You can trust me on that. "

"Still you did inject it. I think I have a reason to keep an eye on you." He had a point.

"Yeah. Well you can but just not that keen. I mean are you even gonna follow me in the girl's bathroom?" I saw him blush a little.

"I will send Konan after you."

"No fun."

"ANNA!!" Konan yelled, advancing towards me angrily.

Uh oh.

"Darn it. Who told you?" I asked before she had the time to do anything.

"I did." I sighed when Itachi answered. I expected to be hit by Konan or at least scolded but she just hugged me for a whole three minutes then let me go and looked at me sternly.

"Shame on you." I looked down.

"Yeah..."

"Now call me next time you feel like doing shit to yourself." The fact that Konan was cursing meant she was a lot angry.

"Yeah..." Before anybody had the time for anything else, homeroom started.

"You know, Itachi decided I should skip some classes. We're gonna talk to the Principal about it after school." I informed Konan during recess.

"That would be nice. I could see you spacing out today. What reason are you going to give and what evidence?"

"Uh...I didn't ask him that. I will ask him though."

"That's nice. But who will keep an eye on you then?"

"I have no idea." She shook her head.

"Keep my number on your home phone so your brothers can call me if anything happens." I nodded.

"But they are idiots who would rather call Itachi just because he lives closer." Konan rolled her eyes. The Uchiha upon hearing his name glanced in our direction but I shook my head telling him it was nothing.

"They must ship you both." Her orange eyes showed me the mischief that danced with her words.

"Oh please. Not you too." Konan patted my head.

"One problem at a time of course."
