Chapter 46

~Anna's POV~

Another sleepless night yesterday. Man I hate this.

I walked lazily to the kitchen and got myself some juice then went in the living room where Max was watching TV, again. Today was a saturday and since I couldn't sleep, I couldn't focus on studying even when everyone helped me, so I just quit that and decided to do something else.

I needed some peace and quiet and some nature. Maybe that would calm me down. I closed my eyes and the image of the place where I wanted to go right now, popped in my head. The best part was that it existed and not quite far away too.

Tim was in his room so I immediately went there and knocked on the door and entered when he allowed it.

"Hey Tim?"

"Hmm?" He asked without looking up from his laptop.

"I was thinking maybe you would let me go to the mum's secret place?" He looked up at me with a serious face.

"You remember it?"

"I wasn't that young."

"You remember the station stops?"

"Like the back of my hand." I was hoping beyond hope that he would allow that. I needed an escape.

"You know there is no direct transport for that place." I nodded. "Take Max with you."

"Yay!!!" I exclaimed in joy and were about to leave when Max started to speak.

"Where am I going?" I grinned at him and he got the meaning. He knew all about that place but never had the fortune to go there.

I changed into some decent clothes and grabbed the home keys, my wallet and my phone. You went out of the house with Max and started my walk to the station.

"I'm so excited! I finally get to see the place you kept talking about!" Max jumped up and down in joy.

"There are so many flowers there, you can pick your own favourite one." I told him and we both got in the train.

The place wasn't that far from the city so I just had to go to the next stop. The sun was still up so making out the roads and the paths was easy.

"Sis is it legal to just go in there?" He asked.

"Yeah of course. Not many people know about this place though. Its like a hidden secret field that only you and I know about."

"Sweet!" I led Max around a series of turns and soon arrived at the field in the middle of the wilderness and Max was just awestruck.

All around was nature and nature and nature. The field was on a cliff and there was water below. There was also a pond some distance from the entrance. The ground did not have many insects so it was safe to just lay around.

"Do you like the place?" I asked.

"Like it? I LOVE IT!! There are so many flowers!!"

"Hells yeah! Why don't you go by the pond and find your favourite flower? Hmm?"

"Sure!" He nodded and ran off. I sighed to yourself and plopped in the flowery field with my hands behind my head which leaned in the ground.

Whenever I was alone with green around, my mind wandered to dangerous places. I thought about everything that's been going on. I thought about Itachi, Konan and for some reason, about my future.

This will not happen if I keep dwelling to the past. Huff.

"Mum help me. Please." I whispered and closed my eyes letting the wind play with my ground smudged hair.

~Itachi's POV~

I was bored being confined in my room. I looked here and there finding something fun to do. When I could think of nothing I got out of my room slipping my shoes in the process and went into the living room.

"Sasuke, I'm going out for a bit." I informed my brother and getting a nod from him, I grabbed my wallet and phone and went to my favourite place.

I stopped at the entrance immediately when I noticed another scent that lingered in the air, which was obviously not mine. I smelled the strangely familiar perfume and came to a conclusion that somebody might be here.

Nobody knows about this place. Then who?

Taking cautious steps in the field I saw someone I knew very closely laying in the field. I managed to catch their words before they went silent.

"Mum help me. Please."
