Chapter 17

~Anna's POV~

I was enjoying my sleep but people are always looking for ways to ruin it. The best way was to be loud enough so the person would wake up. This was the case here because I could hear multiple voices bickering among themselves and completely ignoring the fact that they were in the room of a perosn with a heart condition. I tried ignoring them all to the best of my ability but I was already awake now. Ugh.

"SO DAMN NOISY IN THE DAMN MORNING!! THIS IS A FRICKING HOSPITAL YOU DUMBASSES!!" Well, that quietend them. Huhu.

It was a success but my sudden movement brought consequences. My lower back ached with such intensity that though I tried suppressing it, a shout of pain escaped my clenched teeth.

I rubbed the spot to soothe it and thankfully the pain subsided and once again, my smile was back and it was time for a proper greeting.

"YO PEOPLE!!" I yelled.

"DON'T YOU 'YO' US!!" They all yelled back. By they, I mean my family, and the whole Akatsuki. I never got to know them that well but maybe that was not an excuse for them to skip a visit.

"Ahahahaha, chill~" My eyes scanned each and every person in the room, who all sighed seeing my carefree attitude.

"We were told you are in a bad condition, hmm." Deidara said with a straight face.

"Yeahhhhhh, these doctors love to exaggerate about stuff. Don't listen to them." I answered with a shrug.

"But you do look pale and....skinny." Sasori supported Deidara.

"Really its nothing." I tried assuring them but they weren't buying it.

"Maybe you shouldn't lie, Anna." Yahiko suggested, giving me a look. He knew about my condition but I don't know how much Konan told him this time. I sighed.

"Fine." I agreed to spill it. I took a deep breath and just scratched the surface of my disease that I had a heart weakness and this time it sort of got critical but I was okay and also about the minor fractures in my legs.

When I was finished, a gloomy air hung on everyone that disturbed me.

"O-oi are you guys pitying me or something?"

"Its hard not to have a heavy heart after hearing this..." Kisame voiced it for everyone.

"If I could move right now, I would have pounded all of you for being so darn sad around me! I mean, laughter is the best medicine right? So why don't you all keep your negative emotions to yourself and start being cheerful? Might help me too!!" That worked.

"She's right." Itachi agreed.

"I am?" I asked since it was very strange to me to be called right by an Uchiha. "of course I am!!"

"Don't show emotions this idiot cannot feel. That will weaken her already weak heart." Grizzly finished with a smirk.

"Exactly-wait what?!" A little of this was enough to trigger laughs from my friends and family.

"You fucking Uchiha stop fucking insulting a fucking hospitalised maiden!" Hidan exclaimed raising his fists in my defence.

"Hey guys, no offence but, don't you all have homework to do?" I asked, not wanting them all to get in trouble because of me.

"Fucking teach gave loads of fucking homework."

"Awwh Hidan. Who's the fucking teach?" I ignored Timothy's 'language' warning to my question to Hidan.

"Mr. Fucking Hatake."

"Yeah hmm. He is brutal." Deidara seconded.

"So much homework..." Yahiko sulked.

"Oh that reminds me!" All attention was on me again. "Itachi I need to talk to you later."

Before the Uchiha had the time to respond, there were wolf-whistles from some who clearly misundertood and Kisame so openly elbowed him a comment.

"Way to go, Itachi-san. I never thought you would be interested in a girl."

Itachi facepalmed himself and sighed even more so at my response to Kisame.

"WHAT?! HE'S GAY?!?!" They all looked at the poor guy and I decided to ease some attention from him. "Just kidding. You know I have seen yo-"

Itachi slapped his hand on my mouth to stop me from speaking anymore and that caused everyone to be a hundredfold more curious than they were before.

However before anyone spoke, the door opened and hit Deidara on his head and in came the Doc which meant the exit of everyone else.

They all bid me a farewell and a get well soon. I was happy for this visit, it cheered me up and also eager to really get well soon so I could leave this place.
