chapter 6

A week passed by. All was well. I was enjoying school and work went well. Marie's marriage was taking shape. Things with Ethan and me were also smooth. Apart from what others say, Ethan seems like a nice guy. He is smart, caring, well mannered and very sexy of course. We spent most of the evenings at my home doing our project. We even talked about him in our lunch table. Lisa, Josh and Claire were interested to know about him. They were surprised to know about this side of him. On the other hand Matt and jay were avoiding any topic which includes Ethan. They would change the topic as soon as they find we were talking about Ethan. I got good at Math. All thanks to Ethan of course.

It was Friday and Matt was having a party at his house. He insisted I come, I'm not a party person but its been very long since my last party so I decided to have some fun. Lisa and me planned to go to my home to get ready for the party. My mom was at work so we were totally free. I told Ethan about me going to the party, he seemed disturbed and told me to be careful and call him if needed anything. It's just a party what could happen! Right..

After school I and Lisa went to my home in her car. Lisa made herself at home while I took a bath. When I came out of the bathroom she was lying face up on my bed. I got ready while she took a bath. I got dress in my black skirt which ended just below my knee, white spegatti top, brown leather jacket and a knee length boot. I curled my hair and pinned it one side. I did my usual simple make up but used a pink lipstick today. Lisa was dressed in short skirt and a sleeveless top. She straightened her hair and did her make-up. Its was 7pm so decide to leave for the party. I got my bag and checked for my mobile, wallet, keys, pepper spray (yep my secret weapon) and got in the car after looking my house.

We entered the street and could see lots of cars parked along the street. We found an empty spot and parked the car. When we neared the house we can see lots of people, some were making out, rolling on the ground fighting, some were passed out already. When we entered the house it was filled with people and the music was blaring. Lisa pulled me to what I guessed as kitchen. She filled two cups with drinks and handed one to me. I took a sip and the drink burned my throat. When I was about to take another sip, someone hugged me from behind. I jumped in surprise and turned to look at grinning Matt.

"Hellooooo gorgeous... you look stunning" he said while eying me up n down. The rest of our gang joined us in the kitchen and stood around the table. We talked and laughed, I saw Jayden saying something in Lisa's ears and gave her a stern look. She turned to look at me and gave a nervous smile. I wanted to ask her what's wrong, but Matt never left my side. We had a few drinks and Matt asked me for a dance. We made it to the crowded dance floor and started to dance. After a couple of songs Matt started to dance so close to me, rubbing himself on me. I tried to put more space between us but he kept pulling me closer with his hands on my waist. I excused myself to go to bathroom. I came out of the bathroom and spotted Lisa in the kitchen. When I neared them I could see her arguing with Matt and he was telling her to shut up. I looked at Lisa she looked restless. Once Matt spotted me he handed me a drink and guided me to the couch to join the others. I drank the drink while talking with my friends. Few minutes passed and I felt dizzy. Matt lifted me to my feet and took me towards the stairs. I saw Lisa come to us and telling something to Matt. I was still dizzy and caught hold og few words like 'drug... don't do... not like other girls...' but he pushed past her and took me upstairs. While I was processing these words I felt my body hit something soft, a bed. I blinked few times to find me in a bedroom and Matt locking the door and coming near me. He bent to me and started kissing me. I want to stop and move away but I couldn't. He started removing my jacket. What the hell... suddenly Lisa's words came to mind. Drug.... Matt drugged me.. O My God... no no no no....this can't be happening. I'm a virgin god dammit... God please help me...

As if god heard my prayer the door burst open and there stood the person I least expected.. ETHAN.. A very pissed Ethan.. He pulled Matt off me and started beating him. I felt my eyelids heavy and closed it. I felt myself lifted into someone's arm. I heard music in the background and then I felt night air on my skin. I was outside. I was seated in what I guessed to be a car and drifted to blackness. When I came back to sense but still couldn't open my eyes. I felt someone holding my hands and softly whispering against my forehead. I felt tired and slipped back to sleep.

Ethan's POV

I was sitting in the pack house with my friends watching tv. I was pissed that Tessa was going to that party. My wolf was fighting with me to let him out.

"Relax dude. She'll be fine" Liam said through the mind link. We werewolves can connect ourselves through the mind link.

"Relax.. How can I relax? My mate is at that stupid party" I replied glaring at him.

"If it bothers you so much, you can always go and check on her"

That might be a good idea and made my wolf to calm down a bit. I suddenly stood up and ran to the door collecting my keys. In this process I stepped on Kyle's hands and spilled Seth's popcorn. "What the hell", "what happened to him" they were shouting at me. My friends had noticed my change of behavior for the past week but were afraid to ask about it. One time Kyle tried to ask me but I stopped him with a harsh look. I hate to hide it from my friends, but I can't risk anything when it comes to Tessa. I got in my car and drove to my destination. When I was about a few minutes from his house, my phone rang. I looked at the new number flashing on the screen. I thought of ignoring it but pressed the answer button anyway.

"Ethan?" came a girl's voice.

"Yes and who is this?"

"I'm Lisa, Tessa's friend" her voice was panicked.

"Lisa.. What happened?"

"Its...Its Tessa. Hmph Matt drug..."I ended the call and threw my mobile on the seat. That's was enough to find out what was happening.

I pressed on my gas and reached his house in a minute. My car screeched to stop, jumped out and ran to the door. The music inside was so loud and hurting my sensitive ears. I searched the crowd to find Tessa but she was nowhere, instead I found Lisa standing by the steps. As soon as she saw me, she pointed to the rooms upstairs. I flew through the steps and found it had three rooms. I could sense my mate from the last room. I kicked open the door, I don't have time to check if its locked or not.

As soon as the door burst open Matt looked at me stopping the process of removing Tessa's jacket. I crossed the room I two strides, caught him by collar and threw him to the wall nearby. I turned to look at Tessa to make sure she was ok. Thank god I got here on time. When I found her ok I went to the lump on the floor and started punching him. My wolf wants to rip him to pieces but I stopped when he fell on the floor unconscious. I went to bed, took her in my arms and carried her to my car. When I was at the main door Lisa came to me and asked if she was ok. I told her she was ok and I'm taking her with me. She nodded her head and gave me Tessa's bag. I thanked her and placed my angle in the car. I drove to my pack house because I don't have patience to answer their questions, so went to my cabin instead.

I made her lay on my bed and removed her boots. I kneeled near her, took her hand in mine and kissed it.

"I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have let this happen. Its all my fault. I should have stayed with you" I looked up to see her calm face. I stood up and kissed her on forehead. I placed my forehead on hers and promised everything will be ok and she was safe. I sat back on the ground and fell asleep while holding her hands. My wolf was happy to have our mate safe with us.
