Chapter 36

Tessa's POV

"Look what the cat dragged in? and left all alone" I heard him say right behind me. 

I stood still afraid to turn around and face him. I felt his hands on my shoulder and turning me to face him. There he stood in front of me with a stupid smirk and drunk. His eyes roamed up and down my body like a hungry dog making me cringe. I shrugged his hands of me only for it to land on my waist. 

"What do you want? Leave me alone" I said making him look back at my face.  

"No can't do darling. You know I told you already 'I always get what I want'. Did you forget it baby"  

"It'll never happen. Get off me before my boyfriend tears you apart" 

"Ooooh I'm scared" he said shaking as if he was scared.  

"Well you should be because he is ..." I was cut off by the slap on my face. My left cheeks were burning from the slap. 

"Shut up. You talk too much and I don't have time for that" he said grabbing my arms and dragging me. 

I looked around the room to find anyone I know but all I could see was a mass of bodies grinding and dancing all-over. I tried to pull back my hands but was of no use. He kept dragging me outside towards his car. Oh no I'm not getting in his car. Only god knows where he'll take me. I dig my heels to the ground trying to pry my hands off him. it was of no use, so I did the only thing that came to my mind. I bit his hands holding mine. 

"You bitch" he yelled angrily and back handed me. I fell to the ground feeling the darkness embrace me. the last thing in my mind was ETHAN.

Ethan's POV 

The soil under my paws splattered to the speed I was going. I have been running for 15 minutes to calm my wolf. But when I think of Tess in her red dress, which fit her curves perfectly its making me go crazy. I don't know if I can hold any longer. I want her. I almost let my wolf surface when I smelt her arousal. I marked her without her concern and I don't want to repeate the same when mating her. 

"I can't wait any longer. Its been a month since we marked her" I wolf growled in my head. 

"I Know. Do you think I don't want her? But you know the risks of it and I don't want to lose her" 

"Then find out a solution soon. I can't wait any longer and her damn hormones are killing me" 

"Ok I'll talk with dad tonight" just as I was saying this I felt an uneasiness feel. But it was not clear making me confused. 

Something told me to turn back to the party. I mind-linked Liam to check in my mate. I made it to the tree line faster that I took to run there before. I got dressed up not bothering to button up my shirt and rushed through the back door. The place which I left Tessa was empty. I can't find her scent within these much sweat and arousals.  

"Back door NOW" I mind-linked to my friends turning to the back door. 

Seconds later they came to the back porch where I was pacing. My eyes landed on my beta asking for the answer. 

"I searched all over the house but can't find her. I can't find her scent in this mess" he said hooking his thumb over his shoulder. 

"Urgh... where can she be?" I said pulling my hair. 

"Guys... I found this in the front lawn" Leah handed me Tessa's mobile. 

There is no way she would leave the party without me or at least informing my friends. Something should have happened. Who'd have done that? My wolf was restless begging to let him out. 

"Meet me at pack house in 15mins" I said my friends and made my way to the front porch to find any clue. 

Her scent was faint, being an alpha I have higher sense and when it comes to mates its much higher. Her scent lead to the parking space and vanished. So she was taken away from here by a car. Who in the right mind will kidnap an alpha's mate. I can't find any other wolf scent so it should be a human who took her. Hunters? 

God thinking about my mate in hands of a hunter was making me insane. The hunters use the mates as a bait to weaken the alpha and the pack. My wolf was surfacing, I made it to the tree lines before he fully took over. My cloths were in shreds, I couldn't care less about my dress. 

I searched around the house but nothing was there. I ran back to the pack house. I have mind-linked my dad and he is on his way there too. I changed back to human form and wore a short from my hidden stack around the pack-house. 

When I entered the house, the hall was filled with my friends, beta John(Liam's dad). My parents and sister was on the way here. I looked at the gang but they shook their heads with negative answers. My eyes finally landed on Seth who didn't meet my eyes. I sensed he knew something. I stepped towards him. 

"You have something to say?" I asked through clenched teeth. He kept his eyes to the floor. 

"TELL ME NOW" I ordered in my alpha tone. I never use this tone with my friends but missing my mate was making me do it. 

"Last week she was..... was threat...threatened by....by Matt at school. He told her that he.....he'd get.....get her no matter what" he shuttered making my wolf surface. That asshole threatened my mate and Seth kept it from me. 

I took him by his front collar making our nose almost touching "How dare you let some low-life threaten my mate and let him live" 

"I went to kill him but Tessa stopped me and told me not to tell anyone about it" my nose flared in anger. 

Even if she told him not to tell he should have informed me. Now my mate is missing because of his mistake. I punched him on his face making him fly and land on the floor near the wall. I stepped towards him, my wolf wants to let his steam out and kill anyone hurting my mate. I was held back by few guys and Leah was helping Seth. The guys were struggling to hold me back. I was much stronger that them all. I shook them away and landed few punch on his face. 

"ENOUGH...." Boomed my dad's alpha voice from the door way. My hand stopped midway on a punch. My dad was the current alpha and my wolf bowed to his command but my human side was still holding Seth. 

"LET HIM GO ETHAN" he commanded again making me drop him. 

But I stood there in the same tense posture until a hand on my shoulder smoothed me. 

"Don't worry son. We'll get her back" came my mom's voice relaxing me a bit.  

Once I was calm enough to speak I excused myself and went to my room. The faint smell of my mate was calming me down a bit but I needed more. I rummaged through my drawers to find her t-shirt she wore last week. I inhaled her scent from her clothing calming my wolf. When I was calm enough I went downstairs to enter the discussion happening. I stood by the door leaning on the wall. 

"Alright. So we know who took our future Luna and we have checked his home to find it empty. I want eyes on Tessa's family to be safe. The trackers will be here any minute and will be sent in all directions. Meanwhile I want security to be doubled on the borders. Any info you get is to be informed at once to the alpha and me. Anything else?" Beta John finished his instructions. 

"Ok then. The trackers are here and lets begin" he clapped his hands twice and moving towards the trackers. 

All these guys can do their best but something told me that someone else is behind this. My wolf agreed with me. He was trying to find our mate through our mate-link but nothing came up which means she is unconscious. 'if we have completed the mating we would have found her by now' my wolf growled. 

'I know but lets find our mate first' I replied back to him. My mind was searching to find the possible suspects for this disaster and my mind settled on two names. Who were....?
