Chapter 12

I got up early than usual. I can't wait to see her at school. It was so early so I thought of going for a run. When I came back from my run I found Liam waiting for me at my door.

"Looks like you are up early!" he told with a smile. I flopped on my couch and he stood leaning on my door frame.

"How did it go?" he asked curiously. I told him everything including our conversation about werewolves and the kiss. I raised my head to look at him giving me a stern look.

"What?" I asked

"You are stupid. So stupid" while sitting on the chair across me.

"What? Why?"

"The full moon is in a week" he said looking dead in my eyes.

"Shit" I jumped of my couch and started pacing my room. "How can I be so stupid and careless? Argh ..." I pulled my hair in frustration "What have I gotten myself into?" I asked myself.

"You should have thought that before kissing her. You know how hard it'll be once the bond starts"

Yep I have started my bond with my mate with our kiss. We werewolves find our mate by looking at their eyes and confirm it with a touch which sends shocks throughout the body. The next step will be the kiss which starts the bond. Then followed by marking and mating. During the full moon the mated pairs can't stay away from their mates. For the once who found their new mates they have to mark them before full moon otherwise our wolves will go crazy and wants to find its mate and mark them. If you have found your mate and not yet started the bond, you can survive the full moon without marking your mates. The kiss starts the bond and I stupidly kissed her without thinking about the consequences. The full moon is nearing. I HAVE to mark her. It'll be very hard for my wolf to stay away from her when the full moon starts.

I wanted to take it slow and give her time to know and understand about us. But now I have to either rush the process or try to restrain my wolf from marking her which is a very very difficult process. I still have about a week, lets see what happens. Liam left my room after promising to help me get through this. I had a long shower and put these issues in back of my mind. I don't want these things to affect my precious time with my mate.

Tessa's POV

Its Tuesday and I'm getting ready for school. Rachel was still sleeping in my bed. Yesterday after I came back from my date she demanded every detail and told her everything. She was impressed the place he took me and when I told about the kiss she was jumping. Literally. That kiss was the best kiss I have ever had. I have kissed few guys before but those were nothing compared to this. This was amazing. The moment our lips touched, I felt like floating to another world. He was so soft and sweet. He tasted like mint. I could smell his earthy smell in his breath. During our kiss I felt butterflies in my stomach and sparks in my head.

I kissed Rach goodbye before going downstairs. My mom had made breakfast for us before going to work. I'm not good in cooking. All I can do was instant noodles or frozen pizzas. I heard a horn and rushed outside to see Ethan leaning on his car and waiting for me. He was wearing a skinny jean and black tight t-shirt. His 6-pack and abs were seen clearly. Damn sexy boy...

When I neared him he hugged me and hugged back. We said our Good mornings and drove to school. I was enjoying school than before may be because of Ethan. I enjoyed spending time with him. I can't keep my eyes off him. After school he drove me to work. Work was good and I told boss for day off on Thursday due to the wedding. After work I was waiting on the side walk for my mom but instead I saw a familiar sliver grey car pull in front of me. He was smiling from his side and motioned for me to get in, which I did.

"I thought my mom was coming to pick me up!"

"She was supposed to come but thanks to Rachel she changed the plan"

"I thought so" I said laughing.

"I was a bit scared of Rachel but now I like her" he said with a smile on his lips.

"Ya she can be scary sometimes. You know we both had self defense class and she even learnt some martial arts. So heads up on that". My thoughts shifted to Noah and Marie when they started dating and Rachel will do few things like this. Suddenly I remembered I don't have a date for the wedding. I planned to invite Matt but turns out he is a dick. So I decided to ask Ethan.

"Ethan"

"Ya" he told turning to me with a smile.

"Can you be my date for the wedding on Friday?"

"Ofcourse. I would love to" he said grinning.

"Thank you. Thank you so much"

He stopped in front of my home. When I turned to open my door, he pulled me back by my arms. I turned to look at him. He was looking at my lips and eyes. He swallowed heavily.

"Can I ..." he asked nervously moving towards me. I replied with a nod.

He has undone his seatbelt already. He moved close and cupped my face in his left hand. The warmth in his hand made me to lean in to them more. I enjoyed his warmth and closed my eyes. I felt his other hand in my hair behind my neck. I felt his hot breath on my lips followed by those plump, soft lips. Our lips moved in sync and my hand found their way to his hair. It was so soft and felt good in my fingers. I can't explain the joy I felt whenever I kissed him. It felt like the right thing to do and we were born for each other. We pulled back for our breath with our forehead resting together. I was calming my breath.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked all of the sudden. I opened my eyes and pulled back to look at him.

"I know its early but I liked you from the moment I saw you." He said looking at my shocked face. I looked at his eyes; those grey eyes were like a magnet pulling me to him. This is the first time I have seen his eyes so close. It was an unusual grey with golden speck in it. Those eyes were sincere and pleading. I know he is a nice guy and I liked him too.

"Yes" I told before pulling him for another kiss. He took a moment to respond and kissed me back with so much passion. I pulled back with another peck and jogged to my door. I waved goodbye to the still grinning Ethan when he pulled out of my driveway.

I entered my room to find Rachel doing something in my computer. I closed my door and leaned back to in with the stupid grin on my face. She turned to look at me questioningly.

"Ethan asked me to be his Girlfriend." I told while jumping towards her. She jumped up from her chair; we hugged and jumped finally falling on my bed.

"Told you he liked you" she told nudging me with her elbows.

"Ya ya. Also he z my date for the wedding"

"Obviously. You both will look good together"

"Who's your date?"

"Oh don't know. Didn't find one yet" she shrugged.

I thought for a second "maybe you can take Kyle. You both will be a nice pair" I suggested her.

This got her attention "Who is Kyle? Is he hot?" she asked sitting up.

"He is Ethan's friend. And yes he is hot. But not as hot as my boyfriend"

"Good enough. I'll take him"

Mom called us down for dinner. Once in bed I got a message from Ethan

Hmm... girlfriend I like the sound of it. I replied with a good night boyfriend and drifted to sleep thinking about the kiss. I had another dream about the wolf which I saw in my dream the other day. Today I was able to get a closer look at him. He was beautiful with shiny jet black fur and looked huge. His eyes looked like grey silver. I liked it so much. Me and him were sitting under that same tree. Don't ask me why I thought it was a male wolf because I just know. Sitting near him was so peaceful. The dream melted away letting me into a peaceful slumber.
