Ethan's POV 

As I was driving to meet Tessa I was happy that she gave me a chance to explain. I was a mess when she ran away from me. It was very hard for me to not run to her and pull back in to my arms. But I know I have to give her the time she asked. Since I have marked her I can feel her emotions, I know she is confused but I couldn't sense hate which relieved me. When Liam told me that she want to hear me out I was jumping in joy. I'll make the best use of this chance and make her understand everything. In no time I was at her door knocking it. 

I knocked the door and was waiting, I can hear her coming down the stairs and Boomer rushing to the door. The door opened and there was my little mate in her jean and t-shirt. I wanted to hug and kiss her but this was not the time. We both stood there in silence. Awkward. Boomer rushed to me pushing her to the side. I bent to his height "Hey Boomer". I looked up to see her looking us with a small smile. 

"Hi. Erm.. Ready to go?" I asked standing up. She just nodded her head and locked the door with boomer inside. 

I opened the passenger door for her and moved to my side. I want to talk to her without any disturbance so I decided to take her to my heaven. The drive was silent I could her fast heartbeat showing she was nervous. She was looking out the window. When we reached there, I parked the car and got out. While walking to the clearing she slipped on a branch and I caught her before she fell face first. When our hands touched the sparks flew between us. She pulled her hand from mine when I was still holding to it even after steadying her. 

I sat under the tree with Tessa next to me but with space between us. We sat there in silence until she cleared her throat. 

"So.... Liam said you want to explain something to me. Care to explain?" 

"Hmm.. ya thanks for giving me a chance to explain." I said scratching my head. Where to start? How to explain her without freaking her out? I looked at her.  

"Tess you know you are important to me, I would never do anything to hurt you right?" 

She just nodded her head. God how am I going to tell her? What will I do if she rejects me? I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. An Idea came to my mind.  

"Tessa do you remember the wish you made to this tree when we came last time?" she nodded again. 

"Well I guess your wish came true" she looked at me confused.  

When she understood what I was saying she gasped. "You got to be kidding me" 

"No. Tess I... I'm... I'm a ... werewolf" I turned to look at her shocked face. She blinked few times and turned away to look at the clearing. I could feel the turmoil inside her head. It would be better if I could hear what she was thinking but we have to complete the mating process for it. She has not uttered a single word for the past 5 minutes and it was killing me. 

"Tessa please talk to me?" I moved to kneel in front of her. 

"Is this some kind of joke? Do I look like an idiot to you? There is no werewolf" she asked furiously.  

"No no no no..,it's the truth. I swear" I said looking into her eyes directly. 

She was silent for a moment then turned to me "That explains your eye colour"  

"Its my wolf. I was struggling to control him because of the full moon. You see during the fullmoon is in more control. He wants to be with his mate"
