Chapter 43

Ethan's POV

The happiness I felt when she opened her beautiful blue eyes was unbearable. I seriously thought I lost her for a moment when she was in coma. The next few days were good with me taking care of her and all. I can't believe she made me apologise to Seth, I'm the alpha and I never apologised to others when it comes to matters like this. I wanted to make her have a good time so I talked with her mom to let me take her to my beach house. Noah once told me that she likes places with water a lot, so the beach will be a good place.

My wolf was begging me to complete the mating and I was all up for it, if we have completed it we could have saved Tessa from the danger. I was also concerned if I will hurt her during the mating, since she is a human. The mating with human and were is not new but when it comes to an alpha it's more intense. When my dad told that he couldn't find any books related to this I made up my mind to go for it and find out myself. I made sure that I'll not do anything to hurt her or against her wish.

I planned this trip wanting to spend some alone time with her which me and my wolf needed very badly. When I told her about the surprise I know she wouldn't sleep but was enjoying her squirming next to me on the bed. I gave her the clue to get her to sleep and luckily it worked. If she had continued using her puppy face and pouting I'd have given into telling her the whole plan.

She tried to ask about where we are going but I stopped her from asking and made her wait till we got to our destination. As I pulled into the driveway of the beach house, I tried to wake my sleeping mate and when she stumbled I pulled her to me and thought better of letting her walk and carried her bridal style to the door.

When she heard the sound of waves clashing she stiffened and looked up from my neck where her head rested sleepily and her heart picked up in joy on seeing the ocean. Her jaws dropped on seeing the house in front of us. I know it's a beautiful house and I like to spend my time away from the pack here. It was a gift from my grandma for my 16th birthday.

"I take you like this place!" I said looking down at my still shocked mate.

"Like? I love it" she sounded hyper.

"Well it's good to hear and wait till you see what's inside" I said carrying her to the front door. My hands were full and the key was in my back pocket "Babe can you get the keys from my back pocket"

"Hm... ya sure" she said shyly and reached to my pocket and got the keys and opened the door.

I heard her gasp on seeing the interior of the house. The house was two storied with glass walls which were covered by shutters. The ground floor had the kitchen with dining area lounge and heated pool. The second floor had a master bedroom and 2 guest rooms. The whole house was blue and white with ocean theme. The back door had the stone path to the beach with plants on either side.

She jumped from my hand and rushed around the house to look at all the rooms. I let her look around while I carried the bags to our room upstairs. It was getting dark and I want her to get good rest tonight. I went down to find her head buried inside the fridge. I have hired a couple to look after and maintain the house when I was not there and they should have stocked the fridge when I told them to get the house ready.

I slowly made my way to her and stood behind her enjoying her sexy butt. It made me groan and pull her back flush against my front by her waist. She squealed in surprise and dropped what she was holding. I turned her to look at her face and burst out laughing. There she was standing with her hands and mouth covered in chocolate like a kid giving me a sheepish smile.

I shook my head controlling my laughter and pulling her back into my arms. Then I inched my face closer to hers and licked off the chocolate on her lips.

"Hmmm... Yummy!"

"Oh really?" She asked with a glint in her eyes and the next second she wiped her chocolate covered hands on my face making my eyes go wide.

Oh no she didn't. When I opened my mouth to protest she froze me by licking of the choc from my face. "Yep. Sure it's yummy" she said with a giggle and running upstairs to check out the rooms. God this is going very hard week for both me and my wolf if she didn't accept our mating. I picked up the thing she dropped and threw it in the trash can making my way upstairs.

When I entered my room I found her sprawled on my bed with her legs hanging on the side looking so beautiful with her dark hair spread around her pillow. I stepped in front of her, in between her legs and looked down at my beautiful mate. When she extended her hands for me I held it and pulled her up. I bent to her level and crashed my lips to hers in a heated kiss.

The last time we kissed was today morning when she woke up and it's been long. I pushed her to lie on the bed with me hovering her. I made sure to hold my weight on my hands on either side of her. She kissed me back with equal force. I deepened the kiss by grabbing her hip when she refused entrance and using it to my advantage. I pulled out the kiss to let her breath and trailed kisses on her jaw line and neck till I reached my mark. I thought better of it and stopped kissing with a finishing peck on her lips and settled down next to her.

"You hungry" I asked after a few moments of silence. She nodded in response. I went downstairs after letting her to shower and change. I was tired and settled for a simple sandwich. I took the food with juice to our room and we ate dinner in bed watching TV. I made her have the tablets and slept peacefully with my mate in my arms.
