Chapter 21 - part 1

Ethan's POV

The bright light streamed from the window. I cursed for not closing the curtains but curtains were the least of my concern. I got up to get ready for school in hopes to see Tessa. I'm not sure how she'll react with me today but I hope it to be a good one. I let to school praying the goddess for everything to work out fine. 

I made my way to my locker when I saw my little mate by her locker getting her books. She looked so cute in her skirt and top. My wolf was yipping In joy on seeing her. I was still in my thoughts when she closed her locker and turned. When her eyes found mine I was lost in my special ocean. She smiled and waved at me. I looked behind me to confirm she was waving at me. Sure she is. This put a smile on my face. When I neared her I took a long breath to fill my lungs with her sweet scent. I could smell my scent mixed with it because of the mark. 

"Hi Ethan" she said with a smile. 

"Hey. Morning" 

"Morning" few silent seconds passed. I noticed few students looking at us. 

"Can I walk you to class?" I asked hopefully. 

"Sure" I walked her to her first class. At the door she said her thanks. I wanted to kiss her so badly but I held back on that and kissed her on her forehead. This touch sent tingles through my body and I know for sure she felt it too. I took a step back. 

"See you at science" I told and she nodded and entered her class. I went to mine with a smile plastered on my face. I was happy she didn't push me making my hopes strong. 

I rushed to science to see my mate. She was at our usual table. I went and sat near her. The class started but my mind was fixed on the beauty sitting inches away from me. I wanted to feel her skin against mine. As if she read my thoughts, she paced her hands on my thigh. I looked at her hand and back to her face. She was facing the board with a smile on her lips. I took her hands in mine and entwined our fingers. I took her hands to my lips and kissed making her heart beat faster.  

The rest of the class went with us holding hands. The bell rang making everyone to rush outside. But I was in no hurry at all. After collecting her books we made it to her locker. She surprised me by asking if I want to ditch the rest of school. I was more than ready. We went to my car and drove to my spot. We settled under the tree enjoying the view and the sound of nature around us. She broke the silence after few minutes. 

"So.... You are a werewolf!" she asked looking at me. I nodded in response. 

"Also an alpha of your pack with 500 members?"  

"Ya but now my dad is alpha. I'll take over in few years" I said but I was confused how she know about these details but will hold back for now. 

"Okay. Do you change on full moon?" she asked making me smile 

"Those are myths. We can shift whenever we want." 

"What about silver? Can they kill you?" 

"Silver can slow us and effect us but can't kill us unless its directly in our heart" 

She was in her thoughts fro a few minutes. She is so cute when her nose crunches during deep thoughts. 

"Tell me about mates" she said 

"Well as I told you mate are for life like soul mates. Without them we are nothing." 

"How do you know I'm your mate?" she asked with knitted eyebrows. 

"First we know our mates as soon as we look in their eyes. The whole world stops pulling us to them. I know you are my mate when I saw you first saw you at school during that fight. Then we confirm it by touching. When our skin touches we can feel the sparks flying inside us" 

"That's what the little shocks I feel now!" 

"Ya but what I feet is much high than what you feel" 

"I didn't feel them before but how can I now?" she asked confused. 

"You would have know if you let me continue what I was saying" I said with a smirk. "The next step is the kiss which starts the bond. If I hadn't kissed you before the fullmoon then I'd have been able to control my wolf from marking you. The kiss starts the bonding process. Next comes the marking. Its where I bite you to mark you as mine. While biting my venom is mixed with your blood changing your scent. It'll be mixed with my scent to say the other wolves to stay away from you"  

"Scent?" 

"Ya everyone has different scent. I can smell you from a mile away. Your scent is addicting to me. It helps me to locate you as well as clams me wolf" 

"Ho...how do I smell?" 

"You smell like chocolate and jasmine. Now its mixed with pine which is mine" 

"I don't smell like that!" 

"Oh you sure do smell yummy to me. Its comes with being werewolf. We have higher level of smell, sight, strength and reflex" 

The next thing she asked made my heart skip a beat.
