When he said he'll walk me to and from every class, he meant every word.

The last class of the day. Both of my hands gripped the satchel as I continued walking down the little aisle everyone has made for their 'royal highness'. I felt weird. Everyone was watching me making me uncomfortable.

His hands pulled one of mine out of its grip of the satchel and intertwined them. I looked down at our laced hands looking puzzled. "Don't act like you don't like it." He whispered into my ear. A small blush crept on my cheeks.

We walked hand in hand into our last class. I still don't understand why we need to have an elective. We walked into the music room. He pulled me towards the back of the classroom.

"What are you--"

"Sh. Come on." He pulled me, causing me to trip on my own feet. His hand rested on the small of my back as one was on my hip, stabilizing me. "Clumsy aren't we?" He smirked as he helped me stand up.

I scoffed as he pulled me towards the seats. I sat down, crossing my arms over my chest. "You're cute when you're angry." He chuckled. I slumped in my chair as he started squeezing my cheek. I swatted his hand away.

The bell rang signaling for us as the day is over. I stood up and made my way towards the door.

"Hey." A felt a tug at my wrist. "I said to wait for me to walk you to and from class."

"Yeah but it's the end of the day." I kept walking towards my locker.

"And I also told you I would take you home as well." He still had a grip on my wrist, causing me to wince a bit. He must've saw as he let go and lifted my hand to see marks on my wrist. "He did this didn't he?" He came out more so as a statement than a question. I nodded in reply.

"Come on." He slid his hand in mine an pulled me away from the direction I my locker.

"But I have to--" He looked towards me raising a brow. I clamped my mouth shut. Damn you Alden.

We were about to go towards the parking lot until I stood my ground. "Come on." He pleaded, pulling gently on my arm.

"I...uh have to go do something." I pulled my hand away.

"Do what?" He took a step closer. We were merely inches from each other.

"I uh..."

"Detention?" He chuckled, causing a blush to creep across my cheeks. "Come on. I'll bail you out." He held my hand pulling me towards the direction of the detention room.

"Miss. Jann, I see you have arrived. Mr. Sladek, you are not to be here at this moment." The lady said.

"Well I just wanted to let you know she can't come to detention today."

"And why is that?"

"Her mother got in an accident and is in the hospital." He was really good at acting.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I guess you can go. Hope your mother feels well."

We both left the room into the empty halls. After a few meters later, he started bursting out laughing. I stared at him clutching his stomach, then I found myself doing the same. His laugh was contagious.

We got to his bullet. I stood awkwardly as he opens it. He starts poking around in it. I awkwardly walk away, on my way towards my house.

"Keira." Damn it. I walked towards the passenger and sat inside. I looked around at his furnished luxury.

I leaned my head against the window, twirling the vial in between my fingers. I stared at the small crimson rose inside the vial.

'A rose can be delicate and beautiful, but it can be painful and ugly. There are always two sides to everything.'

I looked over towards Alden to see his eyes on the road. His muscles flexed as he gripped the wheel. His facial features seemed relaxed. Remembering how he looked like when he was beating up Maxius, his chocolate eyes were dark, the veins on his neck were popping out. I stared at his knuckles to see them slightly swollened.

"We're here." He turned towards me. I haven't noticed a small cut on his collarbone. I reached out to touch it as he slightly winced. He grabbed my hand pushing it away.

I pulled my hand back and unlocked the door. "Thank you. For what you did." I gave him a small smile before heading out the door, closing it behind and made my way up the porch.

"Wait." I turned around to see him walking towards me. His hands reached for mine as held them. "Happy Birthday." He leaned in and placed a small kiss on my forehead. He let go and walked towards his bullet.

I wave to him goodbye as he drove away. I looked in the palm of my hands to see a charmed bracelet. I smiled at his gift.

I walked through the house to see it was empty as always. I went into my room and placed my satchel on the chair. A piece of paper fell out.

I put the bracelet on and walked over to pick up the paper. I unfolded it to have messy hand writing written all over it.

I'll see you again, princess. Don't think you can get rid of me just like that. -M

Bullet is also known as the modern day cars we have today, but they are more futuristic and are combinations of different cars.
