"Well?" I asked impatiently.

"I, uh, well the thing is..." He scratched the back of his neck. "I didn't want you to talk to him. When you went to make dinner, he messaged you and I kind of got mad and hid your tabloid." He sheepishly looked away. "I didn't want him to interrupt."

I have him a smile at how cute he looked, so vulnerable. I smacked him on the head. "Don't ever hide my baby. You heard?" I held my hand out, waiting for him to place it in my hand. He went into the room, giving Alek a glare then retrieved my precious tabloid. "Thank you."

I walked past him, my arm brushing his torso, sending a nice shiver up my arm. I gave Alek a smile as he gave one in return. "Sorry for that. Someone hide my phone so I couldn't read your messages." I gave Alden a glare as he put his hands up in surrender then left the room.

I watched him leave. As creepy as it sounds, I watched his back muscles flex as he put his hands down, swaying them back and forth as he walked. The towel still clung to his waist dangerously low, revealing his v-line. His hair was still damp, laying flat on his head unlike his usual styled quiff.

My thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. "Is he your boyfriend?" Alek's face turned a bit pink but he pushed it aside, his face serious.

"No! No, of course not. Just a friend." I think.

"Then may I ask why he was wearing nothing but a towel?" Thanks for being an inquirer.

"He stayed over for the night and he just took a shower." He nodded and looked away, scratching his neck.

"I wish I was there." I raised an eyebrow. "At your school, so that I could be able to see you in person." He quickly added.

We stood there in silence, not exactly knowing what else to say or do. Glancing over at the clock, it was 6:30, yet still pitch black outside.

"I have class in a bit. I'll message you later?" His eyes glinted with hopefulness.

"Yeah. And hopefully no one will hide my tabloid again." Or even dare to touch it. I added mentally.

"Alright. Bye, key. Do you kind if I call you key?" He asked.

"No it's fine."

"Alright then. Talk to you later, key." he said smiling.

"Bye, Alek." I smiled back before the screen went blank. I sighed and got dressed in the school uniform.

I went to the kitchen, seeing Alden sitting on a stool eating. I noticed he had the decency to put on his school clothes.

"Hey." I chirped, sitting next to him. He ate his sandwich silently, not daring to bother looking at me or talking to me. I poked him. And again. And again. Then I poked his cheek, causing his lips to form into duck lips, making me laugh. He eventually stopped the silent treatment and laughed along with me.

"Everything alright?" I asked, taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"Yeah." He didn't meet my gaze.

"Are you lying?"

"No."

"Tsk. Tsk. You should learn what happens to liars." I mocked him saying it the other day.

"Oh, really?" He looked at me smirking. Oh heck no, does he think I'm bluffing?

I poked him real hard in the side, making him jerk the other way, a small squeamish grunt escaped his lips. I laughed at his reflex, only to be tackled with another fit of laughter.

I was now standing in front of him, in between his legs, my back pressed against his torso as he was sitting on the stool. His chest vibrated as he laughed, still tickling me.

"Key, you should be leaving soon. Not playing around." Mina's voice echoed through the kitchen. We both stopped our laughter and straightened ourselves up.

We cleaned up everything and started heading out towards his bullet. He walked over towards the passengers seat and opened up the door. I slipped inside, mumbling a quick thank you as he closed the door, making his way over towards the drivers.

The sun still has not made its appearance even though it was 7:20. He switched on the headlights, moving swiftly to the school premises.

We got out of the car without saying much as we headed into the school. We walked side by side as we heard murmurs while passing.

"Ignore them." He whispered into my ear, guiding me to first class.

------------------

I followed him into the cafeteria as it got extremely quiet. I quickly stood beside him as whispers were murmured about.

"Did you hear? She slept with him?"

"Why is she still standing next to him? She isn't even pretty."

"Slut."

I grabbed his arm, bringing him to a halt. "Can we go somewhere else?" I whispered. he looked around and nodded, leading me towards the media room.

Why would anyone say that? They have no right! How did they even hear about it? It's not like I actually 'slept' with him. The denotation of slept with would be that person was sleeping, as in zzz. Why does the connotation have to be so negative? No I did not have freaking sex with him. God damn you people! So gullible into believing such a rumor!

"Hey, shhh. It's okay." He wiped a finger over my cheek as I noticed his hand was then having a teardrop on it. He pulled me into a hug.

Why do they hate me so much?
