I entered the empty room, seeing the dust particles float into the air. I dropped my bag near the doorway, walking through the room. The sunlight shined through the rotting curtains. The wooden floors creaked beneath me. The farther I moved into the room, the bigger it began to feel.

At the end of the room, an opening began to submerge. It was all dark, until a foot was planted down, followed by another, to reveal a person. She had long chestnut brown hair, flowing gracefully down her back. Her eyes had ringlets from lack of sleep. Her clothes slightly tattered to pieces. She wore a tired smile as her eyes glinted with tears.

"Mother?" I whispered.

"Keira." I heard whispers coming from all directions. Looking around I saw nothing, but the drifting dust particles. "Keira!" It was a silent shout. Her mouth was not moving, but her eyes were growing large with fear.

"Keira!" A soft voice shouted, getting my attention. It was the two male, one with the golden eyes as the other had the warm chocolate eyes. They were getting held back by men in black heavy gear. Struggling to get free, they used fist-to-fist combat with them.

"Keira!" I saw someone's hand go over mother's mouth, a knife pointing directly at her stomach. My eyes widened.

"No!" I tried to make out, but my throat felt like someone shoveled sand into it. The knife pierced through her silky white dress, letting crimson liquid ooze out and staining the fabric.

I shook in fear. "What a lovely scene before your eyes." A voice said behind me. I was frozen into the spot. "Looks like your princes betrayed me." His cold breath seized my neck.

"But they aren't getting anywhere." I stared at them, seeing them still struggling as one of the geared men fell down, another would appear.

"Get away from her!"

"Don't go near here, you monster!"

I could hear them shout at the same time.

"Ah, but so are you." I could hear his smirk, as I saw his hand move up, I screamed as loud as I could. He clamped his hand over my mouth, and dug the same knife used on my mother into my stomach.

"Keira!" Their voices echoed through my head. "Keira!"

"Keira!" I jerked up. My body was covered in cold sweat, matting down my hair. I looked around the room. I was not at home. Not at home, I was. Don't you dare go Yoda on me.

"Keira." His voice soft voice broke through my thoughts. "Keira?" I lunged into his arms. He was shocked at first, out then slowly wrapped his arms around my shaking body.

"Shh. It's okay. I'm right here. You're alright." He cooed soothing words as I trembled in his arms. We stayed there for quite a while, until the sobs died down. I rested my head on his chest, hearing his heartbeat and feeling his chest rise and fall as he breathes.

"Would you like to talk about it?" He asked quietly. I shook my head. I'm not ready to let it out. Not just yet at least. I let out a shaky sigh.

"I'm not shutting you out or anything. I just don't have the strength to go through that little trauma again."

"It's alright."

"I'm sorry for waking you." I tilted my head up towards his face.

"It's okay. We all have nightmares sometimes, right?" He asked rhetorically. I simply nodded. I'm still knackered from all the drama.

"Go to sleep?" His voice dropped down to a whisper, fanning my face. "Don't worry, I'll be here." He rubbed comforting circles on my back. I fell into unconsciousness after I heard a soft tune being sung.

------------------

The light peered through the windows, causing me to shift in bed. Peering my eyes open just a tad bit, he was still sleeping. His head nuzzled on top of my head, his arms wrapped securely on my waist.

I tried my best to get out of his protective grasp, lifting one arm up, and sliding away. I took a pillow to replace myself and placed it in his arms. He hugged it close to his chest tightly, having a small stupid smile on his face.

Walking out, I shook my head. I went to find the bathroom I used the other day to take a shower and change. Getting into the shower, I let the water run, draining everything.

I quickly dried myself, wrapping a towel securely around my torso. Quickly putting on my new pair of clothes--a pair of skinny jeans, a cream shirt, and my lingerie.

I walked back into his room, finding him still asleep, hugging the pillow. I stuffed the dirty clothes in a bag before heading towards the kitchen.

I started humming a tune as I began making breakfast. 'I would like to show you what true love can really do, let me love you, and I will love you until you learn to love yourself~' It was the tune of the song I heard being sung last night, or was that just me in my unconscious state.

"Keira?" I heard shuffling and feet walking rapidly against the wooden floor.

"Hmm?" I turned around to see a relieved Alden, running a hand through his hair.

"Bloody hell, don't do that." I stared at him dumbfounded. "You scared the shit out of me." He mumbled.

•Author's Note•

Ehh, that isn't such a good ending to a chapter... oh well. So, yes, the first section of this chapter was indeed a dream. No confusion there.

Soooo, I will see you next time! [I really don't know what else to say.]
