I stood at the doorstep, my back facing him. The sun was beginning to set, even though it was only 15:00.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said and started walking towards his Bullet. I turned around to see him.

"Wait!" He stopped in his tracks, slowly turning towards me. "Do you, uh, want to come in?" A smile spread on his face.

"You have books?" He ran a hand over the bindings.

"No, they are simply just decors." I rolled my eyes.

"Don't sass me, Jann." He crossed his arms over his chest. I shook my head and sat on my bed.

Yes, we are in my room. It is a very big step to just have a boy in my room. Mother would absolutely kill me, or so I think she would. I've never had anyone else in my room with an exception of my mother, so this is a first.

I looked outside to see it was pitch black. 4 in the afternoon, and it's perfectly pitch black. I turned on the small lamp on my nightstand for a source of light.

"I don't get how it's possible for the days and nights to just have different durations, this is crazy!" He threw hands up in the air. "What?" I chuckled as he stared at me dumbfounded.

"You're so cute when you're frustrated." I immediately clamped a hand over my mouth as my cheeks warmed up. I did not just say that out loud.

"So you think I'm cute?" He smirked as he watched me squirmed uncomfortably under his gaze.

"No." Curse you mouth. Why must you open up and say that? Don't comment on my talking-to-myself mentality.

"Then why is that you're squirming? Can't look at the God-like resemblance on Earth standing in front of you?" His smirk grew wider as he stepped a foot closer.

"Don't get a hold of yourself." I shook my head at his cockiness.

"You know it's true."

"Over my dead body." I crossed my arms over my chest. He started advancing towards me, causing me to shift uncomfortably on the bed.

"Why do you feel so uneasy?" He was directly in front of me. He lowered his face towards my ear. "Or should I say nervous?" My breathe hitched at out close proximity. His arms planted on either sides of my waist. "Tell me, kitty. Am I making you nervous?"

"N-no." Curse you, Alden. His hand went to my waist, causing a burning feeling to appear at his touch. He smirked.

"Tsk. Tsk. You should learn what happens to liars." My eyes widened at his little threat.

"W-what." His face was directly in my face, our noses brushed each other.

"This." He smirked. The room filled with squeals as he dug his finger into my sides, tickling me.

"A-Alden, st-staahppp!" I laid on my back as he straddled me. Awkward position. He had a smile plastered on his face. He didn't have much support, so I caught him off guard as I pushed my hands on his chest causing him to topple over and land on the floor.

I took this as a chance to run out the door. To my luck, he grabbed my waist and pulled me down into his chest, me sitting on his lap, laughing my head off. "You're paying for that." He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly. I was still laughing so he joined in, both of our laughters echoing through the house.

Both of our laughters slowly died down as we sat there on the floor. I caught a glimpse of us in the mirror. I was sitting on his lap, my back against his chest. His arms wrapped around my waist, my hands placed on top of his. My cheeks turned a tint pink as I looked away.

"We both look cute, don't we?" He placed his chin on my shoulder. I let out a nervous chuckle. He played with the ring on my pinky, twirling it around. I stared at our reflection in the mirror. Did we?

"It's getting late. I should get going." My heart sank. I don't want him to leave just yet. Or at all. I like his company.

"You don't have to leave." I said, turning my head to face him.

"Are you asking me to stay?" He wasn't smirking this time, but smiling, showing off his small dimple on his left cheek.

"I-if you want to." I said shyly, looking away. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled.

"Yeah, I'd like that."

This chapter isn't as lengthy as the other ones, but it was really fun writing. I literally wrote most of this in a an hour or less.
