Ten let go of Rachel's hand and Sicheng slammed his dictionary shut while Yuta needed a few seconds to realize what was happening in front of his eyes. He crossed the corridor, grabbed Lauren painfully tearing her from Taeil who looked like if he'll faint or run to his house and never come back.
"What do you think you're doing!" shouted Yuta pushing Lauren so hard she fell through the corridor and hit the wall.
Jae felt his stomach is twisting and he ran there to jump between Yuta and Lauren before he would hurt her more.
"You filthy bitch, you lying slut!" shouted Yuta while Jae hurried to help Lauren up from the floor.
"Don't talk to her like that!" this time it was Taeil shouting. "I have told you once that's not a language you use to anyone and definitely not to a lady!" Taeil was red.
"Lady? This slut there, are you fucking the whole dorm!" shouted Yuta who ignored Taeil and walked to Lauren but Jae got into his way.
"I'm not sticking my tongue into Chinese boys' throats!" shouted Lauren from behind Jae's back.
Yuta went from red to pale in a second. He glanced at Jae with hateful eyes guessing it was him who had told Lauren what had happened the other night.
"It's because you bitch probably had half of the Art School back when I was gone," said Yuta with his usual confident and bossy tone.
"You know that's not true!" squealed Lauren.
"I told you not to call her like that!" shouted Taeil and Yuta run to him and it looked like he's going to push him on the floor but in this moment the dance teacher entered the corridor and glanced at everyone.
"Any problems?" he asked and Yuta stopped and sent killer glances from Taeil to Jae to Lauren.
"No," he muttered walking to the class door.
Jae turned around and saw that Lauren was trembling and tears were rolling down her cheeks.
"Afe you ok?" he asked.
"Yes," she muttered but she was rubbing her back and limping when she walked right next to him to class.
The room was old and huge with dark colored walls, mirrors, ballet rods and a wooden floor and Jae sat next to Lauren to make sure Yuta won't try to hurt her again while Sicheng slid to his other side with his book. Jae noticed dried tears on the boy's cheeks while Lauen sent a very filthy glance towards the boy.
"It's not his fault, the baftendef gave him whiskey and he was a little dfunk," whispered Jae leaning to the girl.
"Would you like a girl Taeyong would look at like if he wants to lay her down from here to the moon and back?" she asked and Jae felt a wince of pain.
The situation was getting worse each second and he didn't listen to the teacher who explained them a project they had to do this term.
Taeil sat next to Ten and Rachel on the other side of the room with his head down and red cheeks.
Jae knew he was probably as down as the rest of them, he had dreamt about kissing Lauren for ages but definitely not like this, and he probably felt guilty because of Minju.
"Ok as to the midterm note I will be giving you a project, I have a box with names to make it easier each of you will pick a piece of a paper, I mean half of you will, and you will prepare a dance with the partner whose name you will pick, and do a choreography in any style you like," said the teacher, a skinny man who seem very nervous.
He held out a box to the first girl near to him that was sitting on the floor in a split while Jae caught Yuta talking to Hansol and Johnny quietly and all three turned around glancing towards Lauren.
She noticed and hid her face in her hands.
"Jae," she whispered. "I will need your help later," she said when the teacher was moving from person to person and soon Taeil took a little piece of paper out of the box, his face fell and Jae knew it's someone he didn't want to spend time with. But Ten jumped up happily and hugged Rachel it was obvious he picked her name. Hansol wasn't too happy about his pick but Yuta had a very triumphant glance and Jae felt his stomach is twisting.
He was the last person who was asked to pick the last piece of paper from the bottom of the box. He unfolded it not hoping for much and he needed to doubled read the person's name to get it. Taeyong? What, there must have been a different Taeyong in his class or was a it a joke, or simply a mistake.
"But sif," said Jae raising his hand. "This, this papef must be a mistake," he said.
The man glanced at him.
"My papef says Taeyong," said Jae and everyone looked at him. "I know only one Taeyong unless thefe's someone else with this name hefe," said Jae stuttering.
"Oh Mr. Lee Taeyong will join this class on October after his world tour," said the man. "You will have the pleasure to practice with a superstar."
"He's my boyffiend sif," whispered Jae getting red.
"Oh," the man inhaled sharply. "That's great," he turned from Jae and was even more nervous. "So let's find your partners and discuss the main idea," he said to the class.
"Congrats," whispered Lauren when Jae sat back on the floor.
"Thanks," whispered Jae who still couldn't believe it.
Of course Taeyong had simply forgotten to tell him he will be at the same university, typical.
On the other side of the room Ten grabbed Rachel's hand and she smiled bright and a lot of people were walking around the room but Hansol sat next to Johnny and crumbled his card in his fist glancing at a few girls in the class longingly.
Lauren and Sicheng never moved from Jae's sides both waiting and soon Yuta approached them his smile wide and head high.
"Hello beauty I guess we will spend more time alone," he said kneeling down and taking Sicheng's hand, and the boy trembled while Lauren gave out a strange noise.
Yuta sent her a triumphant and mean glance, then he led Sicheng from them while the boy muttered "Jae help!" but was dragged through the room.
Jae clenched his teeth he was so mad.
"Mr. I can train with Jae, it looks like no one has picked me," said Lauren standing up and Jae noticed how she winced grabbing her back.
"Oh but I counted everything," the man glanced around.
"No sir, it's.. I got her name," Taeil jumped from the floor.
