It was a long and painful time but Sicheng tried to be funny and his kid's nature made Jae less furious. They walked around the city center, and Sicheng bought him a designer cap and shirt to cheer him up even if Jae protested a lot. Back in the dorm Jae saw all his bags placed on the floor in the corridor, Sicheng helped him to move them to a beautiful room with bright violet walls and a sweet blue bed and sheets. Jae unpacked and it was a painful thing, he tried not to think about all the things he will miss from now on. Around 7 p.m. he was sitting on Sicheng's bed with the boy right next to him. Sicheng was cheerful again and told him about his childhood in New Zealand but the door opened and a very tired Doyoung came in.
He fell on the comfortable dark purple armchair and took a deep breath.
"And?" asked Jae.
"Sicheng go," said Doyoung and the boy jumped from the bed but Jae grabbed his skinny hand.
"You can stay," he said.
"Trust Sicheng?" the boy's eyes widened.
"Of course we trust you," said Doyoung and Jae nodded so Sicheng jumped back on the duvet and grabbed a pillow.
"Ok so first I went to Taeil," said Doyoung and Jae shivered at the name. "He's so over he wanted to hang himself on a lamp in his room. Me and Ten needed to... yes talk to him a lot. He doesn't remember much from last night. Just that Rachel gave out drinks and soon everything began to blurry. He was pretty shocked to find out who he was making out with, he told me all the time he thought it was Lauren. The boy hates himself so much he wants to move out of town and change university. He told me to tell you he's deeply sorry and never ever wanted to hurt you or ruin your relationship. Yes during this he wanted to kill himself again, so Ten is with him all the time and, yes we will change watches," Doyoung seemed completely over but Jae had no pity with Taeil.
The pictures from last night were burning in his mind and he hated Taeil as much as Taeyong.
"Yes and I went to the apartment. Taeyong wasn't too shocked. He helped me to pack your things was pretty quiet. I questioned him about last night but he told me he will talk with you only so I gave in. Yes, I'll go and help Ten and see if Taeil is alright you should really tell him you forgive him till he will hurt himself," said Doyoung.
"I don't cafe," said Jae.
"Oh come on he was there for you all your life, took care of you even when your parents and Taeyong rejected you. He really didn't know what he was doing besides it looks Taeyong started the whole thing not him. Please our friendship is bigger than that," begged Doyoung getting up and Jae shivered.
"Tell him he shouldn't do anything to himself, but I need time to fofgive him," said Jae darkly.
"Ok," Doyoung shook his head and waved to them leaving the room.
Jae fell on the bed he was exhausted. Sicheng bit his nails and looked at him.
"Don't want Taeil hurt, Taeil vefy bad but vefy bad more hurt Taeil," he muttered.
"I also don't want him huft," whispered Jae glancing at the ceiling.
A week passed, November rolled in with rainy weather and falling leaves. Jae was ony talking to Sicheng Ten and Doyoung. He even went to their dance teacher and asked to change his partner for the performance, from Taeyong to Doyoung and the man said he will think about it but Jae started to practice a routine with Doyoung who complained a lot and said it will bering him to bad grades.
Rachel came during the second week and apologize, she said her roommate mixed some heavy drugs to the drinks and she woke up next to Ten even if she didn't want to get to this phase of their relationship so early but Jae told her he doesn't care and left her on the lawn.
Jae decided to completely ignore Taeil and Taeyong's existence and they let him. None of them dared to come to him and try to talk and Jae felt Taeyong could at least try something, but maybe he enjoyed that and wanted to get rid of him and that thought brought Jae even more pain. Lauren asked him from time to time if he needed any help and Yuta came and said hi every time he saw him in corridors what was very strange but Jae guessed it's because he lived with Sicheng and Yuta tried his best to get closer to the boy, but Jae warned Sicheng telling him Yuta is not better than Taeyong so the boy avoided the ex footballer.
It was week three of Jae's break up and he was slowly getting used to the constant feeling of emptiness. He woke up from nightmares and suffered insomnia. He tried to read and learn as it had helped him the last time he and Taeyong had stopped speaking but this time it was way harder to concentrate.
It was a cloudy day but some sun was coming through the torn sky and Jae was going for a lone dance practice as Doyoung was studying in the library when he saw Taeil who glanced at at him from the brick wall in front of the old building.
Jae decided to ignore him as always but Taeil jumped up and hurried to him causing him to stop.
Jae turned around trembling.
"Jae please talk to me," Taeil was even more dirty and sick looking. His hair became longer and hung from under the cap in a sad way, his sweater was torn and he became skinnier and Jae stopped glancing at the miserable figure right in front of him.
"I've heaft all this lies ffom Doyoung," he said harsh.
"These were no lies, I'm very very sorry I hate myself. Look I'm straight and I really don't like Taeyong when I think about it, it's disgusting," the boy shivered. "I'll never be able to kiss anyone again," he added.
"Afe you homophobic?" asked Jae skeptically.
"No, I always supported you and Taeyong and I'm the last person who would like to spoil anything between you, please trust me it wasn't real cheating. Rachel gave us something into the drink, I couldn't remember anything it was like one strange place with swimming walls and Lauren," explained Taeil.
"Please spafe youf lies," Jae turned around.
"Jae, you have to learn to forgive. No one is perfect. People make mistakes, we're young and stupid," said Taeil raising his voice.
But Jae ignored him.
