Jae really couldn't bring the next hardship over to Taeil that day, so he walked back to his dorm and spent the evening in his now lonely room writing the essay for Kun. Late at night he sent another long e-mail to Doyoung and was so tired that even the message - 'My Jae beautiful dreams, 20 days and I'm in your arms,' - from Taeyong couldn't make him feel better, and he was tossing and turning in bed till the morning.
The next day started miserable and cloudy. Jae was pushed by Johnny on the way to the cafeteria for breakfast and nearly fell over. He cursed loud and kept walking while he hoped nothing worse will happen. He was at the end of the corridor that let to the main entrance to the main building when he saw a figure on the end of it and all the hair on his body jumped up.
He couldn't believe his eyes, he rubbed them twice but the person was still there, tall and skinny with a bright smile and carrot-red hair.
"Doyoung!" shouted Jae running down the corridor as quick as he could and crushing into his friend's arms.
It was the best thing that happened since the end of the summer and Jae couldn't believe his eyes.
"I'm gone for three months and everything is falling apart, I must say I have expected it," said Doyoung grumpily and Jae laughed.
He so missed his serious and always rational friend.
"Hi Jae," added Doyoung and they hugged again. "So I guess we must start from the very beginning. We will leave Taeil for later it's always complicated with him, we're going to visit Sicheng now," Doyoung had a plan ready and Jae giggled when the boy took some notes out from his jeans pocket.
He had notes onto who to visit and explanations planned in details, he also found a lot of reasons to make Taeil less hysterical about the whole thing.
"And I need to met this Rachel, we must question her to find out if she's any good for our Ten," said Doyoung walking towards building B and Jae's stomach groaned painfully as he really wanted to eat breakfast right now.
"What about Kun?" he asked.
"Oh I have a plan," Doyoung smiled.
He was pretty confident about it and Jae barely kept his tempo. Minutes later they stopped at the front dest where a lady with very pink and very log fingernails sent them a fake smile.
"We're her to visit Sicheng," said Doyoung. "Can you tell me what room he's in?"
"Room?" the lady giggled. "Oh no the whole floor belongs to him," she said.
"What?" Doyoung opened his mouth in disbelief. "He has hired the whole floor?"
And Jae remembered how Sicheng cried out something about a floor two nights ago at Kun's.
"Oh his father bought the whole floor," muttered the lady.
"Bought? But's it's university's property my lady university's property can't be bought by privat capital, it's tradition that this building belongs to our country. This building here was founded by Barnabus The Great in 1455," groaned Doyoung and some people stopped in the hall and glanced at them awkwardly.
"Oh," the lady opened her mouth and closed it again.
She like Jae had no idea who Barnabus The Great was.
"Anyway I'll talk to the boy and reason him," said Doyoung and tapped the desk.
He walked to the elevator with his head high while the lady was still a little pale and Jae giggled running behind his friend.
"Who was Bafnabus The Gfeat?" he asked when they were in the silver box.
"The founder of the university. He was an explorer and traveler, but also a father of education, he cared about youth and wanted them to have a place where they could study all arts and skills. He got a lot of gold during his excursions as he had found armory from thousands of years before his times... anyway how can they employ a lady who doesn't know a thing about the place she works in."
The elevator opened and they walked down the long corridor. The design was similar to the one on the floor where Yuta and Laurend had shared a room but the walls here were pastel bright blue instead of the yellow ones the whole building was set in.
"Oh, he repainted the wall, the restorer will sue him," groaned Doyoung while he hurried to the front door and tried it. It opened and they stepped into a huge hall with a lot of expensive furniture.
"Sicheng!" shouted Doyoung when they opened more doors.
"Doyoung!" Jae heard the boy squeaking and a moments later Sicheng hugged Doyoung painfully.
"Hi," muttered Doyoung and Jae hoped he won't start to tell the boy off because of the repainted walls and Barnabus The Great.
"Ffiend here," Sicheng smiled to Doyoung but his smile faded when he looked at Jae.
"How are you?" Doyoung asked him.
"Ok," Sicheng faked a smile.
"What about your sister?" Doyoung's question caused the boy to wince.
"No talk Minju," he said shaking his head.
"Oh," Doyoung seemed tense and Jae felt an unpleasant move inside him.
"Do you hate me?" he asked and Sicheng looked at him and to Jae's relief he shook his head.
"But... Hate Taeil," he said with a dark face.
"Could expect that," muttered Doyoung.
"Is Kun visiting you?" asked Jae hoping Kun takes care of his friend.
"Yes," Sicheng assured them. "Everyday," he added.
"Ok, stick to him, pfomise," Jae looked at the boy seriously.
"Yes, pfomise," Sicheng nodded eagerly.
"And keep away ffom Yuta, pfomise," Jae emphasized the last sentence.
Sicheng lowered his head.
"Will try," he muttered quietly.
Jae breathed in sharply, was Sicheng really looking for trouble, he seemed so careless in this case. But Doyoung saw Jae's temper rising so he asked Sicheng to call them and come and talk to them from tiem to them then he grabbed Jae's hand forcing him out of the room.
"I don't agfee on it!" shouted Jae when they were in the elevator again.
"Oh it's like with you and Taeyong," Doyoung smiled.
"I don't see a similafity," Jae crossed his hands.
But Doyoung kept smiling to himself.
