"I'm youf ffiend and I won't leave you hefe," explained Jae.
This statement made Luren break down completely. She grabbed Jae's sleeve and sobbed into it loud. He used this moment to text Taeil and ask him to come and help.
He placed his hand awkwardly around Lauren and waited till she will stop to cry as Taeil did when he was falling into pieces and screaming from pain on his bed back in February.
Fifteen minutes later Lauren stopped crying and there were only a few tears from time to time but Jae heard voices and glanced up noticing a group of people - Taeil, Sicheng, Ten and Rachel walking their way all very worried.
They stopped at the bench and glanced at the suitcases and bags and Lauren tried to wash her tears away using Jae's sleeve.
"I found out Hansol's roommate has a air mattress," said Taeil who was still very pale.
"Oh, but it's way to much to give me a part of your floor," Lauren sobbed louder.
"Ym, actually I thought I"ll give you my bed and take the mattress," muttered Taeil looking away.
"I thought about giving hef my bed and sleeping with you," Jae glanced at Taeil and Lauren burst out in a hysterical cry, probably stunned by the options she had besides the alley bench.
"I would take you but my roommate Sandra is a mean bitch you definitely don't want to met her," said Rachel.
"I could ask the couple I'm renting a room from if they could sleep you over at the couch in the living room for just a little money," said Ten.
Lauren looked from Jae's sweater to all their faces she was speechless.
"Oh that is so beautiful and nice," she said. "But I can't be a burden to any of you," she said again.
"If you prefer this bench I can't help," Ten shrugged and Rachel looked at him in disbelief.
"So for tonight it can be my bed I'll go to the awkward guy, he still hasn't introduced himself to me, and ask for the mattress," said Taeil but when he was about to go Sicheng raised his hand.
"Yes," Jae looked at him.
"Kun-go alone, nice room, big and a bed with none, no-sleep bed," he explained.
"Kun?" repeated Taeil glancing at Sicheng in disbelief.
Lauen tensed. Jae knew she would rather sleep on that bench than see Sicheng's face each morning.
"Can you ask him?" sha said looking hopeful.
"Ok," Sicheng smiled and took his phone out walking to the end of the alley.
He came back soon and told them to wait, so they did Lauren laid her head on Jae's shoulder making him feel even more uncomfortable but he let her.
Ten and Rachel sat on the grass and Taeil placed himself next to Jae on the bench while Sicheng was walking up and down the alley as uncomfortable around Lauren as she around him.
Ten minutes later Kun came their way, he wore a fancy blue shirt to tight jeans and had his earphones hanging lazily from one ear, his thick dark brown hair was mixed in the wind. He had the rat smile back when he stopped next to them grinning wide.
"So it's been five minutes at university and you need my help," he said and Taeil coughed.
"So you're Lauren yes?" Kun looked at the girl and she nodded. "Ok you can move in including tonight but here are rules to keep," he took a paper out of his pocket and held to her.
Lauen chocked her tears and glanced at it reading and Jae leaned over her shoulder to read it too.
Qian Kun and Lauren Francis agree here on becoming roommates,
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ROOMMATE SHIP OF ROOM 364 FLOOR 7 BUILDING D
Lauren Francis will move in on the night of 2nd September and move out when the contract wil terminate on 25th June next year (what is the end of they academic year).
Lauren Francis will agree on:
a) keep the room clean,
b) don't disturb her roommate during learning and practice time,
c) not complain about anything including 5 or more hours a day of piano and vocal practice,
d) do not invite anyone,
e) keep the night silence after 10:30 p.m.,
f) in case of coming back to the room after 11 p.m. rather to wiat till 6 a.m. than to disturb (this paragraph can be bent ony in an emergency situation),
g) do net use more than 25 liters shower water a day,
h) don't leave her stuff around in the bathroom,
i) take care of her key (in case of losing there won't be any additional key),
j) don't burn lamps in the room after 11 p.m. and keep the general use of energy under 3000 kWh/per moth.
Lauren Francis hereof agrees to pay half of the rent and half of all bills for the room starting with a installment at the night of the 2nd of September.
"I needed to print it out, please sing here, and here," Kun gave her a pen.
Lauren looked from the paper to him.
"How should I count kWh?" she asked scared.
"Oh stupid girl, I'll explain later," Kun rolled his eyes.
Lauren bit her lip, she was considering it but when she saw Sicheng who moved closer to Kun she grabbed the pen and signed both versions.
"That's your's," said Kun handing the signed copy of the contract to her and walking down the alley. "Oh, and it's 10:50, so according to the contract you have ten minuted to move in," Kun was pretty happy about himself when he was walking into the darkness.
