When Jaehyun starts to live the adult life he discoverers that Taeyong's mistakes are breaking his heart and trust. Despite all the hardships he must learn to fight for himself and his dreams or else he will lose his boyfriend and his music career.
...
'...They want you to sink, They're like dogs in the dark streets, fangs glowing in the light...light.... King Jae you are the light in me
I want to be better for you
I want you to come back to me...'
Jae covered his ears, he wasn't aware that he was screaming till the music stopped abruptly and a cold hand landed on the back of his neck, he caught his breath and closed his mouth as his throat was torn.
"Jae... Jae ok," Sicheng's face was pale when he leaned over the boy.
"I..." Jae glanced around at the mess he had made in the room.
"Jae situation bad, lot, lot money but we make it, hope," Sicheng rubbed his shoulder with the skinny hand and Jae realized Sicheng thinks it's because of the debt.
"Sufe," he muttered quietly while Sicheng let go of him and pulled a chair for himself closer.
"Last night I... I kept my pfomise, I've nevef kissed him, please believe me!" Jae glanced at the boy hysterically.
"Jae tell, Jae happy with Taeyong, so no worry," Sicheng smiled in a nice way.
"No, no, I don't ok!" he said.
Sicheng lowered his head.
"Believe Jae, no worry," he said quietly and Jae inhaled sharply.
Why was it so important who did he want to convince Sicheng or himself.
"So, have you... have you found an idea how to get the money?" Jae asked quietly.
"No, call daddy, no money, must do alone, learn," said Sicheng in a miserable way.
"Oh!" Jae groaned, Sicheng's father was their last hope.
He started to bite his nails, think he told himself, not about Taeyong but the problem, he shouted at himself in his mind.
Was he slowly getting insane, was Taeyong his sanity.
"Sicheng I have some money it should be about 200,000," said Jae suddenly. "Will it help?"
Sicheng blinked a few times, it was everything Jae had earned on his music and saved.
"Ym, a little but 300,000 Jae," Sicheng's voice was shaky.
"I know, maybe the othef can help we can boffow money and give it back latef, we can ask," asked Jae.
"Idea!" Sicheng smiled a litle. "Go ask," he moved up and ran to the door there he turned around with a sacred face. "Jae ok?" he asked.
"Ok," Jae lied and even tried to smile but Sicheng didn't seem convinced when he disappeared behind the door.
The next tow days were very long, on the third they had to pay to the company that made the digital copies of Mark's album and Jae couldn't sleep or eat at all, the reasons were very split between the threatening bankruptcy and Taeyong.
On the second evening he and Sicheng were in the Art school in the studio counting what they had received.
"200, 000 Jae," said Sicheng placing the calculator and the paper on the table. "1,000 Mr. Johnson, 1,000 Donghyuck family," he read out loud. "30,000 Taeil, 300 Ten, 500 Doyoung, 10,000 Mark family, all," he glanced at Jae. "242,800," he moved the paper towards Jae. "Half money," he shook his head and Jae sighed.
They had around half of the money they needed and he rubbed his face, they needed to pay 300,000 tomorrow. They looked at each other both too tired and scared to talk, it was all over, before it had even started right.
The silence got longer and the clock on the wall was nearly ticking in Jae's head when then they head a knock.
Jae felt a cold shiver, it was close to midnight and they were the only ones in the Art School left was the guard coming to kick them out and close the building but when the door opened they saw Miss Hillary who was out of breath, her gray hair was falling out of her bun there were red blushes on her face.
"Boys so glad I reached you," she said so Jae jumped up offering her his chair, she took it with a kind smile.
"Miss Hillafy what afe you doing hefe so late?" asked Jae.
"Oh I had to come the moment I've heard," she said and they glanced at each other, the last thing they needed was pity from the lady or a part of her teacher's loan.
"Jast let us handle it, we will ok?" Jae spoke calmly.
"Oh sweetie you are saved!" she said and tears glittered behind her gasses.
"What?" Jae tried not to smile but if she really thought a few thousands she can offer would save them, but Miss Hillary stretched her hand out and put a piece of paper under his nose
"Here," she said.
Jae took the paper barely looking at it while Sicheng leaned above his shoulder and gave out a strange cry.
"This, this!" he started to point at the paper and Jae looked from him to the lady.
"Yes sweetie a anonymous donor sent you half a million to rescue your company," she said and Jae started to laugh.
Her words sounded like a fairy tale but Sicheng grabbed the paper moving it to the light.
"It's real," he said. "Daddy check same," he assured in excitement and Jae shivered.
"What afe you talking about!" he grabbed the paper and stared at it.
It was a check for their record company, one with a lot of zeros and a proud 5 in front, Jae felt he will faint and he grabbed Sicheng to not to fall. Who? Has Sicheng's dad decided to save his son, but why anonymously.
"Boys, I'm so happy, so so happy," Miss Hillary burst out into tears and Jae felt Sicheng's hand around his neck when the boy hugged him but he was staring at the check trying to get behind the mystery of the signature that said anonymous donor.
