The warm air wakes me up, I go to stretch but something is preventing me, I slightly open my eyes, I'm on the floor. I rub my eyes before realisation hits me and I remember where I am, Michael is sleeping peacefully and he looks younger, I trace the tattoos on his arm that is wrapped around my waist.
"I'm home," Jade calls out, "with a fucking head ache so don't even."
"Who the fuck is that?" Michael asks, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Jade, she just got back from the party," I mumble, "I'd better tell her you're here."
I free myself from Michael's arms and legs that somehow got tangled during our sleep. Jade is getting aspirin from the cupboard that is the most used cupboard in the kitchen after a party.
"Michael's here, he stayed over night," I say, swapping my weight from one foot to the other.
Jade turns around, she still looks perfect despite her hangover, smudged makeup and hair out of place. Her eyes widen for a second before bitting her lip to hold in a giggle that escapes anyway.
"You had fun I see," she giggles, pointing at the marks Michael left on my neck.
"I thought you had a hangover," I say, walking off laughing.
"Don't remind me," I hear her groan.
Michael has gone back to sleep, he looks like an angel when he sleeps, I've got to stop thinking like this. I fix the sheets so his toes are no longer exposed. Jade walks in and crosses her arms, frowning at the angel soundlessly sleeping on our living room floor. I don't say anything, I just leave her to her own thoughts. I go to the kitchen to take a shot of vodka, I'll need it for when Michael wakes up to Jade, probably kicking him in the face, I laugh at the thought.
"Fuck, what do ya want?" I hear Michael from the living room, I walk back to watch.
"What are you doing in this apartment?" Jade scrunches up her small nose.
"Well I was sleeping," he says, putting an emphases on 'was'.
Michael has a small smile playing on his lips, he thinks this is just a joke. Jade it the opposite, she has a frown on her face but she still looks like a tiny teddy bear or puppy. I don't know how but Jade always has this cuteness about her, even now with her eye makeup on her cheeks, upper arm tattoos and a frown.
"I don't see why you're so angry, I haven't done anything."
"I come home to see a pile of ink lying on the living room floor."
"Your roommate could say that but you can't, you've got shit on your arms, colour in your hair, I'm just the male version of you."
Jade's frown increases and I can't hold in a laugh, they both turn to look at me, I've been caught watching, "It's okay Jade," I laugh, she shakes her head before walking off.
"I'd better go, I'll pick you up tonight at seven, please invite her, she's funny and I'll enjoy taking the piss out of her."
"Ok, how big is the party?"
"Massive, it's at Matt's place and tons of people go."
Michael leaves and I watch him walk off up the road, back towards Olly's. I don't know Matt, I can't even remember hearing about him but since when does that matter at a party, I go to chose an outfit for tonight.

It's already six thirty, I've got a black dress with straps that comes to mid thigh and is so tight, I put on some black heels. I go to wake up Jade, she's been asleep since Michael left, I ask if she wants to come, she agrees, stumbling towards her wardrobe. I put on another layer of black eyeliner and then coat my lips in a hot pink.
