My alarm starts beeping on the night stand, I try to turn it off as quick as I can so it doesn't wake Michael up but I end up hitting my phone, making it fly halfway across the room. I groan, pulling myself out of the soft bed sheets, picking it up and turning it on snooze.
I stumble out of my room and fall into Jade's bedroom door, I knock and mumble something that is suppose to sound like, "wake up." Jade opens the door and thanks me, I offer a smile before crawling back into bed. I close my eyes and sleep takes me far away from my bedroom.

"Lil," Michael coos, I smile at the sound of his angelic voice, "Lil," he repeats, a tiny bit louder, I sleepily open my eyes to see his colourless green beautiful ones, "do you know what time it is?" He asks, I pause before looking over at the digital clock, my eyes widen in realisation, it's Monday afternoon.
"I'm running late!" I say, jumping out of bed and rushing to the bathroom, I turn the shower on before running into the kitchen to grab a muffin, I run back and get in the shower, trying not to get the muffin wet while I eat it.
"Where are you going?" Michael asks when I run out of the bathroom in my towel and back into my room where Michael is sitting on the bed.
"I have to go to work, I start at two," I say, pulling my jeans on, "you can stay here if you want or come with me or whatever."
"I told Calum I'd hang out with him today but thanks," I peck him quickly before running up the street to the university.
"Took your time," Harry says, getting up from leaning on the car bonnet.
"Sorry, I just woke up," I apologise getting in the passengers seat. Harry turns the key and the engine comes to life, we speed out of the uni campus and onto the road.
"I heard you came to the frat party and your friend got in a fight with Max."
"Yeah, I had to get Liam to save him."
"I didn't know you had any other friends, as in ones that Max would attempt to fight."
"I met him just before we went to the frat, at another party, Matt's party."
"Matt, why didn't you tell me? I would've come, I love that guy."
Harry pulls up right in front of the bar, I lean over and kiss him on the cheek before running inside to start my shift. "Hey Tyler," I say.
"Hey, you know you're ten minutes late, right?"
"Does the boss know? Has he checked?"
"Not yet."
Three men are already sitting up at the bar, one is mopping in the corner, another is downing a bottle of scotch and the third has his head on the bar, spinning a shot glass in circles. Poor lost souls, I feel sorry for the people that come in in the afternoon and get drunk, it makes me sad that something in their lives has broken.
