Never Known Love

Chapter 18

*Jade's POV*

First, I ran up to Danielle. I hug her and tell her "You are amazing. You are a really good singer and I always listened to the voice on the radio, hoping you would win, and you did and I love you." I hug her again and move to Demi. "You inspire me, and you are one of the best singers ever. Thank you for coming." I said as I hugged her. Next, was Ellie. "Oh my gosh. You are amazing. I love Burn, it is so inspirational." I tell her, not believing she was here. Next was Little Mix, I hugged each of them, giving a little speech, then moved to the One Direction boys. I thanked all of them for coming, and gave them a little speech, then we went to go get our gear.

*Taylor's POV*

To see Jade greet all of her guests, and give them a speech was amazing. She looks so happy and I felt good, knowing we were the ones to out this all together for our daughter. I couldn't wait for the surprise we were going to tell her tonight though, it was really exciting. We went to go get our laser tag gear, and seeing Jade's smiling face made this all the better. Now that she was 14, she would be a highschooler, and hopefully not to bratty, but we will love her all the same. "C'mon mum," she said, grabbing my hand and leading me towards the game.

*Jade's POV*

After grabbing our gear, and mum, we went to pick teams. I wanted to be a captain, and Harry was the other captain, being the cocky boy he is, he bet his team would win. Since I was the birthday girl, I got to pick first. "Niall" I called, wanting the Irish man, him being hilarious, and not to mention cute. Don't tell dad I said that though, he would get mad at me. "Zayn" I heard Harry call. "Danielle" I called, wanting someone close to my age. "Ed" I heard,  then saw my dad walk over. "darn." I said under my breath. "Mum" I said, wanting one of my parents. By the end,  my team was the Starlight team, including: Me, Niall, Mum, Louis, Ellie, Perrie, Demi, and Danielle. The other three girls from Little Mix, three guys from 1D, and Dad were on Harry's team.

"We are going to kick your butt." I told Harry. "Nuh uh" "Ya huh" "no" "yes" "no" "yes"  "LET'S JUST START!" I heard someone say. "3, 2, 1, go" the speaker said. We had 5 minutes to find a hiding spot for our temp, then when the horn blew, we could search. My team made up a plan, for the good climbers to get in trees, and for the good shots to get around our flag, to protect it. The people in the trees will see where the other people are coming from, and so we will go to their flag and steal it. The buzzard blew, and we were off. We had Louis scouting around, looking for them, while Danielle, Ellie, Demi, and I were in trees. Mum, Niall, and Perrie were around the flag. I saw Liam coming through the trees, and I shot him, he then collapsed on the ground, moaning, then died. That was the fun part of dying, it could be dramatic. I jumped from the tree and went through the bushes, when I heard Louis scream. Guess he is dead. I went towards the scream, figuring that was towards their base. I was behind bushes, and I heard what sounded like Dad scream, then go, "TRAITOR, I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!" I guess Mum shot him. I saw Zayn and two girls, I couldn't see who, come out of a clearing, I shot them down, then went towards the clearing. I saw another girl come up to check on them, and shot her. That leaves Harry, and a girl from their team. I heard four screams then, Ellie, Demi, Danielle, and Perrie. That leaves, me, mum, and Niall. I heard mum's scream, then the last girl from Little Mix's scream. Okay, two against one. Harry could either guard his flag, or come after us.

I went into the clearing, and saw the flag, Harry no where to be found. I kept in the shadows, when I heard Niall scream. Okay, Harry probably has our flag. I grabbed his and ran. I was in the bushes, running, but you couldn't hear anything. My feet were quiet, but I could hear Harry pounding his was through. He was getting close, so I hid behind a tree, I saw Harry come into view, and I shot him. He looked shot, then he collapsed. I raced back to our base, their and my flag in hand. I made it a buzzer went off. "Thank you for joining us. Jade's team has won, and happy birthday Jade." Everyone got our of their dead position, congratulated me, then we went for ice cream.

Everyone sang Happy Birthday as we ate and gave me small presents. I got a two necklaces, a bracelet, four rings, a tshirt saying "I'm awesome" on it, a One Direction shirt, tickets to a 1D concert, VIP passes, tickets to a Demi concert, and a cute headband. I said thank you then we went home.

"Jade, we have something to tell you." I heard Mum say. "Okay." I said, and I went and sat down with them. "Well your mum is..."
