That night, we were watching the Red Tour Movie, which hadn't come out yet, but obviously Taylor had it. Ed was featured in it, and it showed their last show, where he dressed up for the finale. It was so cute.

I then went up to my room to take a bath and go to sleep. I took a bubble bath with watermelon shampoo and vanilla bean body wash. It was awesome. I then got out, wrapped in a fuzzy white blanket, and went to bed.

*dream*

I was 3, the first time my parents had ever beat me. They stumbled into my bedroom, where they left me in a crib that was way too small. I started to cry, not knowing that was the wrong thing to do at the time. My father stumbled to my crib, screaming "SHUT UP YOU WORTHESS LITTLE BRAT!" . He then picked me up by my hair and threw me in the corner. By then I was wailing, not used to it yet. "WHAT DO YOU NOT GET ABOUT SHUT THE HECK UP?" my mother screamed, kicking me in the shin, then gut. They then stumbled out, leaving me whimpering in pain.

I woke up to Taylor and Ed on either side of me, worry etched on their faces. "Sorry I woke y'all, I had a bad dream." I apologized. "It's okay, we just heard a scream and got worried. Just know, if you ever have another one, you can come see us about it ok? What was your dream about?" Ed asked. "My past," I said, not planning to elaborate. "You tell us when your ready okay baby? Goodnight, love you." Taylor said, her and Ed standing up and leaving. "Goodnight," I whispered.

*Taylor's POV*

Ed and I were talking, when we heard Jade scream upstairs. We went racing up, wondering what happened. We walked into her room, to see her crying and shaking in her sleep, the occasional whimper. We got on either side of her, not able to wake her up, but wanting to be there when she awoke. When she woke up, she looked scared, but immediately apologized for waking us. The gal Charlotte said she had a tough past, but never mentioned what. When Ed asked what the nightmare was about, she didn't elaborate, just said it was about her past. To help her feel more comfortable, I told her to tell us when she was ready and left, wondering about her. I just hope she trusts us soon, so we can help fix her broken self.
