Since November left to get ready for her dinner with the moms, I decided to go find medicine to sooth my agonizing headache.
Shuffling through the bathroom cabinets, I didn't find what I was looking for. I bent down, picking up the toiletries that I had knocked down.
All of a sudden, the song 'Barbie Girl' starting blaring from inside my pocket. Slipping my phone out, I noticed the name that was flashing at the top of the screen.
Travis.
"Hello?" I answered, placing the phone in between my cheek and my shoulder, all while struggling to hold all of the pill bottles.
"Hey." Travis greeted, sounding like he had just woken up.
Why am I not surprised?
"What are you doin', man?" I asked.
"Nothing much, dude. I just called to ask you something." He sighed.
"Shoot." I placed the pill bottles neatly back into the cabinet, shutting the small white door afterwards.
"Uh, who was that girl that you fell asleep on my front lawn with?" I heard shuffling on the other end of the line, before hearing him groan, cursing under his breath. "Damn table."
I held back a chuckle as I questioned, "Why?"
"Because, man. My brother says that she knows the chick or something."
"Huh. It's November Smith. Let me know if you find out how he may know her." I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand, my knuckles digging into my skin.
"Yeah, alright." I heard someone talking in the background, hearing him muttering her name to the person. "Sorry about that. Hey, I gotta go. I'll talk to you when I find out, yeah?"
"Yeah, thanks."
"Alright, see ya." He yawned.
I hung up the phone, stuffing it back into my pocket. Stepping out of the bathroom, I went into the living room.

"Alright," I let out a frustrated sigh. "This isn't working."
For the past hour, I've been staring at the television, which had been playing some chick flick that had something to do with a...notebook?
Pulling out my phone, I dialed a recently familiar number and held it up to my ear. Listening as it rang, I began to flick through TV channels.
"Hello?"
I let out a sigh of relief at the sound of her voice.
"November," I breathed.
"Hey." She greeted. "What's up?"
"Well, I was thinking of ordering a pizza for lunch and watching a movie...and I was wondering if you would want to join me?" I asked cautiously.
"Michael," she sighed, "I can't I have to finish these vows before dinnertime. Maybe another time, yeah?"
"Come on." I urged. "I can give you some inspiration!"
"I don't think-" she began to say, only to be cut off by what sounded like her mom.
"November, relax a little! Go be with the boy!" she shouted.
I heard November sigh, before shouting back to her mom. "You just want me out if the house, don't you?"
"Now, now, honey. lets not change the topic." I heard footsteps and a door close.
"So?" I pressed. "Yes?"
She sighed again. "I guess so. I'll be there in ten."
