|Nova Kingston|
It's been a week. One week since everything. One week since flower guy. One week since Michael and I's fight. One week since...the reason I feel like shit. This morning was when I start throwing up, it was the worst feeling in the world.
I heard a knock on the bathroom door. "Nova? You good?" Michael's voice sounded out. I wiped my mouth with a towel, and opened the door.
"Yeah, just . . . nauseous." I mummbled, ppicking up my toothbrush and toothpaste.
His face became ten times more serious as he said "I'll be back," and then walked out.
I quickly brushed my teeth so that I could go downstairs and actually eat something. I hadn't eaten yet. It was 1:34 pm.
I raced down the stairs, running into the kitchen to see Julienne standing in front of the stove.
"Ah!" She chirped. "Just in time!"
I gave her a curious look. "For what?"
"I tried out a new recipe today!" She hopped up and down.
"Nice," I nodded, "what is it?" I leaned upward, trying to see what was cooking behind her.
"Well . . ." She muttered, "it's burnt."
"Burnt?"
"Yes, burnt. I burned it. So, I made something else. I made . . ." She patted her hands against the counter, making a drumroll. "Ramen noodles!"
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Sounds delicious."
She picked up the pot full of noodles, "oh it is! Here, dear. Have some." She grabbed a bowl and filled it with some Ramen and placed it on the table in front of me.
My stomach growled at the sight of the yummy food, making Julienne laugh. "Thank you!" I grinned, taking a large bite of the steamy hot soup.
"Anytime, hon. Hey, how's your mom doing? It's been a bit since I've seen her." She placed her hands on her hips and cocked her head as she stared at me.
I help up a finger, motioning for her to wait as I chewed the large amount of food that was in my mouth. "She's pretty good. She'[d love to see you, she hasn't been getting out much."
"I should invite her over for dinner . . . yeah, good thinking, Julienne!" She praised herself, walking to the sink to clean dishes.
I perked up when I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen. Michael's dad walked in the kitchen, dropping a bag and hugging his wife. They exchanged greetings before he turned to me.
"Hey, November! Nice to see you, as always." He smiled, giving me a side hug and sitting across from me at the table. "So, what's cookin', good lookin'?" He winked at his wife. Looking at my bowl, his eyes lit up. "Ramen!" He stared at it in adoration. "I haven't had that in years . . ."
"Well, here's some," Julienne laughed, setting a bowl full of it in front of him.
"Yes!" He cheered, "thanks, love." He gave her a kiss on her cheek.
Relationship goals
Wait.
Relationship . . . where did Michael go? He left like, fifteen minutes ago.
"Do you know where Michael went?" I asked the couple in front of me.
"Uh, I'm not sure, dear." Julienne responded. "He left and didn't say where he was going?"
I nodded.
"Hm, that's weird, he doesn't usually do that." A confused look crossed his dads face.
I opened my mouth to respond just as the sound of the front door opening echoed through the house. "Guess that's him now," I muttered. I stood up and headed towards the front door, where I saw Michael standing, holding a small plastic bag.
He held it out towards me, saying "Time to take the test."
I took the bag from his hands, and reaching inside of it, I pulled out a pregnancy test. I heard a gasp from behind me, which made me turn around to see Michael's mom and dad's heads peeking out of the kitchen at us.

a/n:
my body hurts and i can barely move my legs
i find entertainment in watching my neighbors get out the cars and slide down their driveway on the sheet of ice that lay on top of it.
but then their son went and shovel off the ice
which ruined my fun
so i have a few things that i need to cover with you guys
1) the reason i put a certain number of votes and comments at the end is to give me more time to write and update without putting a shitload of stress on me, because honestly my life is a giant train wreck and y'all constantly telling me to update isn't making it any better
2) yes, i understand that you guys telling me to update is because you guys like the story but it's not making me want to write more than i already do. in fact, it's making me want to pull my hair out.
3) i write chapters at my own length preferences and the book will happen as i plan it, not when you demand me to add things to it.
4) i love hearing about how much you guys like this book, it makes me smile. i also read every. single. comment.
5) i write how i please and if you don't like it, don't read it. you can suggest that i put things in my chapters but don't say it, making me feel like im stupid
sorry if i sound rude but my life is literally a rollercoaster that only goes down, my friend.
