Hyungwon felt really sorry for cursing at Hoseok and slamming a door shut in front of his face. The next morning when he left to school, he saw the fallen rose petals on the porch. It had snowed a bit during the night so some of them were hidden under the snow. Seeing them made Hyungwon feel even more regretful and he realized that he shouldn't  have acted like he did.

He tried calling Hoseok while waiting for the bus that would take him to school to arrive. His call went straight to the voicemail.

"Hi, Hoseok. It's me... I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for acting the way I did," he said, realizing how he should have thought before calling so it wouldn't be that uncomfortable. "I will forgive you if you forgive me. I'm coming to your place after school, okay?"

Then he hung up and put his phone away at the same time he saw the bus arriving. He hoped that Hoseok would listen to his message soon and reply.

Hyungwon arrived to school and walked straight into the classroom, trying his best to avoid all the people on the hallway. He didn't get bothered that much in school anymore. Kihyun and Minhyuk had been basically ignoring him ever since the thing they had seen at the festival. Hyungwon didn't understand why. Jooheon and Changkyun let him be alone more often too. They had a new target because they had a new girl in their school who was kind of an outsider - there were all kinds of rumors about her. She wasn't even in their class but they still had to get involved with her.

Hyungwon saw them sometimes on the hallways and he wanted to stand up for the girl because he found it wrong that they were bullying her. He couldn't find the strength to do it though. He knew it was wrong to just stand by and watch. That's why he mostly sat in the classroom, to avoid that quilt.

Hyungwon took out his books and started to do some last-minute study for the test they would have. Someone sat on the chair in front of him, facing towards him. It wasn't Jooheon or Changkyun. Kihyun slowly raised his head with a bit annoyed look on his face.

"Uh... Hyungwon," Kihyun started. Hyungwon leaned back on his chair to prepare on what he would say. "I don't want to be nosy or anything but that guy you kissed at the Christmas street... Is he your boyfriend?"

Hyungwon froze after hearing the question. Was he still together with Hoseok? Technically they never broke up or anything. They just had a fight. "He is. Why do you care?"

"I don't," Kihyun quickly defended because he was not supposed to be nice to Hyungwon. "It's just... I'm happy for you."

Then he left and Hyungwon looked after him with a confused look on his face. Then he continued studying. He thought Kihyun was acting weird - maybe he had finally gotten some sense and started to regret all that time he had been mean to Hyungwon.

Changkyun took Hyungwon's bread in the cafeteria and Jooheon let out a laugh when they walked past but other than that, Hyungwon had pretty peaceful day. He could not stop to be suspicious about if this was just calm before storm.

When Hyungwon got out from school, it was already pretty late but Hoseok still hadn't called back. Hyungwon tried to assure himself that Hoseok was just still at work and missed his message because of that. He decided to go to Hoseok's place anyways. He needed to get things right between him and Hoseok because the truth was that he couldn't survive a day without him.

Even though Hyungwon had been at Hoseok's place for a few times and walked there from school before too, something seemed to be wrong now. The street he had found himself to didn't have streetlights so it was really hard for him to see the houses on the both sides of the road.

"Hoseok's street had lights though," he muttered to himself and started to get scared. He had gotten lost. He knew the way to Hoseok but because it was so dark outside and he had been in his thoughts, he had no idea where he was now.

Hyungwon took out his phone and with shaky hands, because it was cold and he was scared, he opened the app and typed in Hoseok's address.

"It's a minute walk away," Hyungwon wondered as the app told him how long way there was to his destination. He clicked the map to see where he was supposed to go and then his screen turned black. "No... sh-," Hyungwon almost let out a curse when he realized that his phone turned off because of the cold.

He now didn't have any idea on which way he was supposed to go, he only knew that he was really close. Then he saw a guy that was walking a dog. Hyungwon thought he could ask for a way since the guy was probably living somewhere close.

"Excuse me," Hyungwon said and walked to the man that seemed to be in his thirties. "Can you tell me where is 3C?"

"Right there but you're behind it," the man explained and pointed at one of the apartment complexes Hyungwon couldn't see well.

"What..." Hyungwon stuttered but then he realized it. He was so close of the house, he was just on the wrong street. The one that went behind the apartments. He felt even more dumb. "Thank you," he gave the man a slight bow and turned around to leave.

"You're not going anywhere," the man said with a voice that was suddenly more rough. He grabbed Hyungwon's arms and put them behind his back so he couldn't escape.

Hyungwon let out a small scream and started to try to fight his hands free. The dog was barking and jumping against Hyungwon as the man was trying to pull him to the another way. Hyungwon felt his heart start beating faster and his breaths getting more rapid.

He tried to calm himself down because he knew what he needed to do. His mother and father had taught him how to deal with situations like this. He was starting to panic and the dog didn't make it any easier.

Hyungwon kicked the man's shin as hard as he could and threw his head back at the same time. The back of his head hit the man in his face and he managed to fight his hands free while the man was recovering from the sudden attack.

Then Hyungwon ran. He ran as fast as he possibly could in a state like that. The dog was barking and when the barks started to get closer, Hyungwon knew that the dog was now free.

Dog caught him in a second and Hyungwon fell to the ground. He put his arms in front of his face to protect himself from the dog that came on top of him and tried to bite him. He didn't know how to fight against a dog. The man was running towards them as well. Then he passed out.
