As it came closer to Christmas, Hyungwon's winter holiday began. He had been staying at Hoseok's apartment ever since the incident and only went home once to get some more clothes and other stuff. His parents, who weren't home either, didn't seem to be happy about it but couldn't do anything since they were probably in the other side of the country.

The morning on the day before Christmas Eve, Hyungwon was awaken bu Hoseok kissing his neck. At first he was kind of shocked but decided not to say anything and let Hoseok continue what he was doing. Hoseok left a trail of soft kisses on from his neck to his jaw and then to his lips.

"Are you awake?" he muttered against Hyungwon's lips. He had been cuddling Hyungwon the whole night and Hyungwon didn't mind because Hoseok's apartment was cold at nights - or almost freezing because even Hyungwon, who always slept fully clothed, felt cold there.

"I am now," Hyungwon answered and Hoseok's lips turned to a smile.

"Do you want breakfast?" Hoseok asked, rolling on top of Hyungwon and resting his chin on top of Hyungwon's chest. Hyungwon had to raise his head a little so he could look at Hoseok.

"Yes please," Hyungwon said and Hoseok gave him one last peck on his lips before getting up and walking to the kitchen. Lately his cooking abilities had gotten better and after getting some guidance from Hyungwon, he was now usually the one who cooked in the house. Hyungwon liked to eat foods someone else had made because he had gotten so used to his own cooking already.

While Hoseok was preparing the food, Hyungwon went to take a shower. The food was done and already gotten a bit cold when he came out - he liked long, over half an hour showers - but he didn't mind and ate anyways.

"You could have put a bit more salt," he commented to the cook, Hoseok, who was carefully watching as his boyfriend ate.

"But last time you said there was too much," Hoseok sounded frustrated because he felt like he never managed to do things properly. Hyungwon didn't want to hurt Hoseok's feelings but when it came to food, he just had to say the truth.

"This time there is no salt," Hyungwon said and started eating only the rice. "Rice is perfect, good job."

"Well the cooker has automatic timer so it's impossible to fail," Hoseok sighed, knowing that Hyungwon said about the rice just to cheer him up.

"Can we go Christmas shopping?" Hyungwon asked with his mouth full of rice to change the subject from Hoseok's cooking skills to something else. "I want to buy you a present and I think this apartment needs some decoration too."

"Of course," Hoseok said and stood up to start to clean the table already. "Let's go soon because I have work later." He had few day-offs from some of his part-time jobs too but people needed friends on holidays more than ever so the rental service was still going.

"Okay," Hyungwon quickly stuffed two more spoonfuls of rice in his mouth before he let Hoseok take it away.

They got ready quickly, putting on their warmest clothes. Hoseok had a scarf Hyungwon had given him because his jacket was not as fluffy as Hyungwon's. They held hands to stay warm and started walking from Hoseok's place to the shopping center that luckily was pretty close because it was so cold outside.

The first store they went into was a small and cozy place that had house items, most of them representing the seasonal style and color. Hyungwon wanted to buy a tray that had red polka dots in it. Hoseok didn't see it necessary but Hyungwon insisted on buying it, saying that they could keep their ramen bowls on top of it every time they wanted to eat while watching the television.

There was a clothing store next to it and Hyungwon headed there straight away. Hoseok just followed him and tried to not look at any of the clothes because he knew he couldn't afford them - he usually got his clothes from the store that was on the other side of the mall because it was much cheaper.
