"Sure I could say all I want is to taste you just once but we both know I'd be lying." -R. A. Knipe

Bea left Kianna's place a few minutes after their conversation. She had to go back to the club, hoping to see Jho there.

The encounter with Kianna has proven something—that Jho is different from the rest.

She parked her car in front of the club and hastily made her way inside the noisy building. Bright lights and loud music welcomed her. The smell of sweat, cigarettes and alcohol made her head spin.

She climbs to the VIP area and scanned the wild crowd from above.

Where are you, Jho? She unconsciously thought.

She felt a hard tap on her shoulder so she turned around.

"Dude! Akala ko 'di ka na sisipot. The squad has been waiting for you!" Ara greeted while enveloping her in a tight hug.

"May ginawa lang kanina. So, what are we waiting for? Let's get drunk!"

If drinking will make her forget the girl, who has been taking much of the space in her mind, then she'll do it every night. Besides, the chances of finding her are too slim. She knew she has to let go even though she had this gut feeling that Jho could be the game changer.

Dad calling....

She immediately grabbed her phone from the bedside table and answered the call.

"Beatriz..." Her father's voice was stern, causing her to panic.

"Dad, I-"

"How many times has this happened, Beatriz? You missed another deadline yesterday! For goodness sake get yourself together!" Her father scolds her like a child.

She hated it whenever this happens. She never asked for the position because she wanted to do something else but they wouldn't allow her. She understood that her parents wanted the best for her, but this is not her passion and this is not the road she wanted to take.

She sighed and explained, "I'm sorry Dad. You know this isn't what I really want. I made that clear from the very start."

"Just..." Her father's tone softened. "Try for another three months, okay? Then if nothing really sparks your interests then, hahayaan ka na namin ng Mom mo."

Her heart leaped upon hearing that from her father because she never expected them to reconsider. She felt so driven to fix herself and be productive, however, she forgot that it was a Saturday and that meant no office.

She shook her head in amusement.

Ang excited ko naman. Saturday pa pala. She thought while chuckling.

So what she did was fix up the stacked reports on her study table, clean her bathroom and wash the dirty dishes that were piled in the sink.

When she was about to drop her laundry, she glanced at her bed. She knew she had to change the sheets but somehow the thought of Jho stopped her.

"Sayang naman kung ipapalaba ko. I think I'm keeping that for a while." she mumbles.

It might be against her hygiene protocols but what can she do? She was still craving for Jhoana and nothing was close to satisfying her but the scent she has left in those sheets.

After cleaning, Bea headed to the grocery store to buy some ingredients she would need to cook her mother's favorite - lasagna.

Cooking is one of Bea's passion. She dreamed of becoming a chef since her mom taught her how to bake those chocolate chip cookies when she was six. Time has passed and the recipes became more complex and she enjoyed figuring out the right mix to every meal she has cooked, sometimes even adding her own twist to make it original.
