and i think it was
the feel of you that
told me you were it.
because i've felt many
things in my life,
and somehow, no matter
how great, i knew
i could live without
it. until i felt you.
there was something
inside of me that
couldn't let go.
not just the feel
of you, but the
feel i had of myself.

"Jhoana, pakilala na kita kina Mom," she mumbled while reading the book she bought yesterday.

The other girl turned to her, face puzzled. "As in ngayon?"

Her attention was fixed on the pages of the book. "Yeah. We could go home now. Maaga pa naman eh."

"Seryoso ka ba?"

This time, she glanced at Jho and found her frowning. "Oo, seryoso. Is something wrong?"

"But I look like a mess, Beatriz de Leon," she whined.

She chuckled at Jhoana's remark because she found it absurd. Mess? How could she be a mess when she looked breathtaking in her loose tee and underwear, hair pulled up in a bun?

"Not at all. Ganda mo," she replied, turning her attention back to the book.

She yelped as a pen hit her forehead. Ouch.

"Aray ko naman! What was that for?"

It was the bossy slash cranky Jhoana she's talking to. "Ganda? Sa estadong 'to maganda? Sinong niloloko mo?"

"Actually, wala. Ang hostile mo. Can you not? I'm on my period."

Bea wanted to roll her eyes, but was too lazy to do so. She'sbbeen in bed all morning, making herself comfortable in her newly changed sheets. Jhoana suggested that she would spend the night in her place since Bea was moody over the phone. The latter happily invited her in, showering her with kisses as soon as she stepped inside the unit.

"Kaya nga I'm staying over tonight, diba? Napakademanding. Ugh," Jhoana complained then went back to conceptualizing the restaurant.

Bea has been the cause of the delay because she was pretty much a distraction to Jho for the past two months. She sometimes takes her out on random dates and could not get the timing right.

There was a time she woke Jho up two in the morning on a Sunday to go on a long drive to Tagaytay just to catch the sunrise and have breakfast. Of course, Jhoana was tired from work and loves sleep awfully much, she acted like a brat throughout the ride, but Bea was unaffected since she knows that Jho couldn't stay mad at her for long.

She climbed out of bed then linked her arms around Jho's neck.

"Sige na, let's go home. Meet my family, please? Pagbigyan mo na ako oh."

Jho fought the urge to meet Bea's eyes because if she does, she'll instantly give in to the tall girl's request.

"Ayoko," she retorted.

"Pretty please?"

"Hindi mo ako makukuha dyan sa pacute mo..."
