Even when we're miles and miles apart, you're still holding all of my heart."

Several months passed and going home together was already a routine for Jho and Bea. The former would purposely leave the office a bit later than her workmates so she could freely run towards Bea, who was always leaning on her car door, expectantly waiting for her.

They act like a couple, yet they're not official. They try not to complicate things as of the moment. As Bea would say, "baby steps".
Instead, they choose to enjoy each other's company in every way that they can. They've also set clear boundaries and laid out their preferences and understood their differences like real and mature couples do.

As we are familiar with, couples that have started dating would do things together all the time however, Jho and Bea agreed that they should try to live their lives as independent as possible for them not to overwhelm each other and to respect their lives outside the relationship—it was a perfect balance.

And when they're finally together after a long day, phones and other distractions are set aside so they could focus on catching up or bantering. Bea would mostly start the sweet nonsense because she's always the mean and playful one.

Meanwhile, Jho was hurrying towards the elevator immediately after her floor was cleared of people. She saw Bea in her usual stance, head dipped down. She quietly approached the tall girl's and planted a soft kiss on her cheeks.

"Hello, I missed you today," Jhoana said tenderly, her lips brushing Bea's skin as she spoke.

The latter straightened up, eyes beaming at her affectionately. As always. She loved Bea for that and for infinitely many reasons. Her stare doesn't fail to electrify her soul.

Bea leaned close and kissed the tip of her nose. "And I miss my cutie pie today, too." She paused and pouted. "You didn't reply to my message kaninang lunch. Tampo ako, J."

Her brows met as she tilted her head to the side. "I replied kaya. It's the only time we get to talk to each other during the day and then I'll ignore you pa?"

Bea sneered playfully. "You know that's not what I meant!"

Jhoana's eyes roamed, trying to figure out what the other was trying to say.

"Ahhhhh!" She raised her index finger up. "You know naman I'm still not used to it."

Bea shook her head and opened the door for her. "Grabe, I only heard it less than five times from you ever since. Di mo ba ako love?"

She ignored her question and instead pinched her cheeks together with her palms. "Sus. Yung damulag ko nag-iinarte nanaman. Act your age nga! We're grownups if you happen to forget."

"Kahit kailan under talaga ako sayo," Bea complained under her breath.

Jhoana laughed quietly as Bea jogged towards the driver's side. They had always argued because she never replied 'I love you too' whenever Bea would say it. It was true—she said it less than five times because she truly sucked at expressing her feelings through words and Bea was well informed about that so she could only whine and whine, but could never demand for Jho to change the way she feels about being vocal.

Whenever they had free time, they would work on the design of the restaurant, however, her giant wouldn't let her work in peace. Bea would always request for her to sit on her lap while she drew and then would begin to pester her with kisses on the back while her strong arms are draped around her waist.
